Deleting or renaming a segment while viewing one base image also changes other images because they share segment identities. Give each image independent definitions, ordering and selection. A plain new image copies the previous image's labels and styles once, using fresh identities and no copied masks or annotation geometry. Incoming definitions take precedence, and deliberately empty sets stay empty.

Scope configuration, processing results and cleanup to their destination images. Save ownership in manifest 8.0.0 and migrate earlier shared catalogs into independent image sets. See the ownership and persistence contract.

Superseded by #1015, which keeps the per-image segment model without deferred initialization. The macOS metadata filter and polygon rasterization fix were split into #1013 and #1014.
