Hey, I'm Wharley 👋

I build software. Now I'm building what comes next.

Software Engineer · Builder · Former CTO

I've spent over 20 years building software, from web and mobile applications to complex platforms and products used in the real world.

I've been a developer, tech lead, CTO and co-founder. I've built products from scratch, led technical decisions, solved production problems and learned that shipping is only the beginning.

Today, I'm exploring the intersection of software engineering, AI agents and developer experience.

I don't just want to use AI to write code. I want to build better ways for humans and AI to work together.

🚀 What I'm building

DevCommandCenter

An open-source desktop workspace for working with multiple AI coding agents.

Built with Rust, Tauri, React and TypeScript.

  • Orchestrate coding agents across different providers.
  • Delegate tasks between AI models.
  • Review code changes before applying them.
  • Work with Git, diffs, conflicts and isolated worktrees.
  • Keep developers in control of what AI builds.

The goal isn't to replace developers. It's to give them better tools.

💭 A few things I believe

  • Build to solve real problems. The best ideas often start with your own pain.
  • AI is a tool, not a substitute for engineering judgment.
  • Simple experiences require serious engineering.
  • Shipping matters. A working product teaches more than an endless roadmap.
  • Keep learning. Twenty years in software, and there's still so much to discover.

⚡ Beyond the code

I'm a husband, a father, and someone who believes technology should serve people.

I started my journey in a small town in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Software opened doors I never imagined.

More than two decades later, I'm still curious, still learning, and still building.

From Brazil, building for the world. 🇧🇷

Still building. Still learning. Still shipping.
