Summary

  • Allow explicit or task-sequence site scoping in XMLPackage mode for driver and BIOS packages.
  • Filter XML package entries by PackageID prefix when a site is set; preserve all-sites behavior when omitted.
  • Apply the same SourceSite filter to fallback driver package queries.
  • Document the complete site-scope behavior and extend the parity contract.

This completes the applicable behavior from upstream DriverAutomationTool commit 6b78e8d while retaining DAT's reviewed pinning and lifecycle changes; the upstream branch conflicts with the fork's customized scripts, so its older files are not copied wholesale.

Validation

  • PowerShell and XAML parsing passed.
  • All 10 script regression harnesses passed.
  • Pester 6.2.0: 59 passed, 0 failed/skipped.
  • 20-file FileHashes.md verification passed.
  • git diff --check passed.

Squashes fork history (001d11d..e4e88f7, PRs #16-#22) onto
maurice-daly/DriverAutomationTool master 6b78e8d. Tree is identical to
previous main e4e88f7; backup bundle kept locally.
