A few nitpicks. Should we also have a blog post as part of this PR to announce the affiliate applicaiton process is back?

I get that it makes sense here, but I dislike putting a secondary action in the boxes on this page. The page currently has very bold calls to action with explanatory text and this breaks the pattern.

Yeah, IMO we definitely should. It's been visible for a long time that the process was stuck, so we should signal clearly that we're open for business again. |

Added a new page (affiliate-applications) under the /projects directory, and mention it under:
Pretty much it, just copied and pasted the README from the other girhub repo so this is the moment to change anything else on there.
