Description

What is the purpose of this pull request?

This pull request:

  • updates the package.json descriptions of two stats/base/dists namespace packages to match their README blurbs. In the namespace, 37 of 39 packages (95%) already use the same text in both places.
  • stats/base/dists/signrank: changes "Distribution of Wilcoxon signed rank test statistic." to "Distribution of the Wilcoxon signed rank test statistic.". This is the wording in the package README and in the parent stats/base/dists README namespace listing.
  • stats/base/dists/uniform: changes "Uniform distribution." to "Continuous uniform distribution.". This is the wording in the package README and the parent namespace listing, and it matches the sibling discrete-uniform ("Discrete uniform distribution.").

No.

Other

Any other information relevant to this pull request? This may include screenshots, references, and/or implementation notes.

These were found by a drift check across all 39 namespace packages in stats/base/dists. Every other feature checked had no outliers: file tree, package.json key set, README section structure, lib/index.js JSDoc tags and export coverage, and TypeScript and README coverage of subpackages. Two validation passes, a cross-reference check and a structural review, confirmed that nothing depends on the old strings. The same old wording appears in JSDoc comments in docs/types/index.d.ts. That file is generated, so this PR leaves it unchanged.
