Public releases of the WSG Client app for Windows desktop.
WSG Client is the modern companion app for WeSimGlide.org, designed to make MSFS soaring tasks easier to download, inspect, load, fly, and share.
It replaces the older DPHX Unpack & Load workflow with a cleaner, more visual, and more integrated experience. You can open .DPHX task packages, review the briefing, map, event details, weather profile, images, add-ons, and files directly inside the app, then load the task into Microsoft Flight Simulator with the right flight plan, weather preset, and supporting files.
WSG Client supports both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 from the same installation. It can detect your simulator folders, manage task files, clean up unpacked files, and help keep your soaring setup organized.
The app also includes a Gliders & Add-ons catalog, allowing you to install, update, repair, or hide supported freeware gliders, mods, liveries, and useful soaring add-ons. It can detect many existing Community packages, even when folder names differ, and helps avoid duplicate installations.
WSG Client can integrate with companion tools such as NB21 Logger and SSC-Tracker, keeping pilot name and competition ID in sync with your WeSimGlide account, and feeding them with the task files and data when enabled.
For pilots who upload IGC files to WeSimGlide, WSG Client includes an integrated IGC Upload workflow. It can match flights to tasks, analyze results, save task details, and open the task leaderboard or planner directly.

Some anti-virus programs may report this program as malicious, but it is not.
If this happens, you may need to add an exclusion for the folder where you extracted the WSG Client files.
WSG Client is a Windows Forms application based on the Microsoft .NET Framework, and requires .NET Framework 4.8 or later.
The .NET Framework should already be included with Windows 7 or later, but you can download it here if needed:
If the tool does not run after adding an anti-virus exclusion and installing the .NET Framework, install both Visual C++ Redistributable packages below.
Both are required, even if WSG Client is x64 and your Windows installation is x64 too.
