This pulls in the latest updates from John that will be upstreamed in due course.
It also fixes #7480 which was GStreamer passing in invalid frame references in some places.
Tested with the crashing file from #7480 and jellyfish (3Mbit/s 8bit and 20Mbit/s 10bit).
