Summary

Add runtime detection for FastRPC domains that are present and ready but unsupported by the installed fastrpc_test payload.

Changes

  • Detect client-side domain errors from retained invocation output.
  • Report an actionable FAIL for unsupported runtime-ready domains.
  • Avoid distro and package-version-specific checks.
  • Continue testing other available domains.
  • Support Yocto, Debian, Ubuntu, and CentOS layouts.
  • Keep dependencies image-provided with no runtime installation.
  • Update FastRPC documentation.
  • No YAML changes.

Add verified CentOS overlay repository preparation and package mappings while keeping package lookup output safe for command substitution.

Preserve existing network-managed interfaces when generic reachability is inconclusive and let callers perform endpoint-specific validation.

Use distro-appropriate package recovery and capability-driven domain discovery across supported images.

Report a selected runtime domain as failed when the installed client cannot exercise it, so package/image gaps remain visible until fixed.

Use image-provided playback, recording, and download clients without broad runtime dependency installation.

Improve backend selection and actionable handling when PipeWire utilities or AudioReach components are unavailable.

Support the CentOS BlueZ toolset, dynamically recover usable Bluetooth controller addresses, and improve bounded firmware and service diagnostics.

Recognize compressed or symlinked Qualcomm WiFi firmware assets without changing Yocto behavior.

Handle help output, image-provided modetest availability, CentOS package behavior, and explicit failure markers consistently.

Report reboot-required KGSL boot policy as a clean skip while retaining Yocto module handling.

Allow upstream Kodiak firmware when no override is supplied and prepare the mapped Iris overlay on desktop distributions.

Trust fresh package-managed module activation, suppress redundant module resolution probes, and validate media endpoints when generic reachability is inconclusive.

Document the verified Kodiak CAMX package set and shared Qualcomm RPM repository preparation used by explicit overlay runs.

Use the common Qualcomm RPM overlay helper for CentOS and RHEL package preparation and document its metadata refresh behavior.
