Hello @pepc84 , thank you for your contribution. You can update the urls above to what you'd like to use instead with "latest" in the url, and the action should rerun with the urls.
I've notice the mode works well for v4.5 on Linux, but not for v4.3- for 4.3, it doesn't see the dependencies I've installed. I'm not sure how much this minRevision is actively used at the moment in Processing, but feel free to update it to a more recent revision that reflects which Processing version it might work seamlessly with, at least for users of the mode.
None of these are breaking changes, so if I don't hear from you in a few days, I'll work on updating and merging the entry in the contributions database then.
Hi, updated the URL to use latest. Tested on 4.3 and 4.5 and both work fine on my end. What dependencies were you not seeing? Trying to figure out if its something specific to your setup so I can reproduce it.
Hello @pepc84 , I see, are you also on a linux machine? I'm running pop 22.04. When I run Processing 4.3 on C++ mode, and run one of your examples, it tells me g++ isn't installed. but when I run Processing v4.5.x in C++ mode, it runs your examples no problem.
Yes I'm on Arch Linux. I actually spun up a Pop!_OS VM to test this. I fixed the ambiguous cases where g++ was installed or not and tested both scenarios. It should now work fine regardless of which Processing version you're on. I honestly have no idea why 4.3 and 4.5 would behave differently like that. I also bundled GLEW and GLFW with the mode in v0.1.3 so no other libraries need to be installed manually. Could you try the latest release and let me know?
Hello @pepc84 , I have good and bad news. bad news is, the v0.1.3 release no longer works for my v4.5.2 processing, but the good news is I was able to get your v0.1.2 release to work on my computer with Processing v4.2 and v4.4.3, which averages to 4.3? :) I'm unable to get Processing v4.3.x to run at the moment, and my previous v4.3 Processing was installed via the package manager, so unknown problems there, but I think this is a sign that it's not you. I suggest you release v0.1.4 without the dependency bundle, and with your updated error message. Thanks for the extra time you spent to try to find a solution. I will add your mode to the contribution manager shortly.
Thanks for testing! v0.1.4 is out now without the dependency bundle. I also added auto-install buttons for g++, GLFW, and GLEW on Linux so users get a graphical prompt instead of a raw compiler error. Let me know if it works on your end.
Hello @pepc84 , I tested v0.1.4, and it works great for Processing v4.2, v4.4.3, and v4.5.2.
apologies, the parsing script is not forgiving at the moment with case. Please revise your properties file in the release to have the fields exactly as they were in v0.1.2, for instance, sentence instead of Sentence, minRevision instead of minrevision.

I also would like to use the https://github.com/processing-cpp/processing.cpp/releases/latest link instead of the one I used
