The LICENSE file(s) differed from the canonical Apache License 2.0 text (https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.txt, SHA-256 cfc7749b96f63bd31c3c42b5c471bf756814053e847c10f3eb003417bc523d30) by 79 lines: the Trademarks clause was missing, sections 7-9 were renumbered, and the copyright grant and section 9 wording were altered. Cargo.toml and every source header declare Apache-2.0, and GitHub's license detection returned NOASSERTION. Every byte now matches the canonical text except the preserved appendix copyright line. No other files change. Already published release archives carry the old text; replacing them is a separate release decision.

Change and motivation
Replace every LICENSE file with the verbatim Apache License 2.0 text, preserving only the existing appendix copyright line.
The previous text differed from Apache's canonical file by 79 lines (whitespace ignored): the Trademarks clause (section 6) was missing, sections 7 to 9 were renumbered 6 to 8, the copyright grant wording was altered, and section 9 was retitled "Accepting Warranty or Additional Support".
Cargo.tomland the source headers declare Apache-2.0, and GitHub's license detection for this repository returnsNOASSERTION. This is a launch blocker for making the repository public.Files:
