TCRs help get P0 results to be very close to anisotropic results but at a much lower cost.
It is tricky to get the right ratios, and an area of research. If they are obtained outside OpenMC or using a different method than what is implemented in OpenMC, it's a little difficult.
Having a map attribute to override the TCRs OpenMC calculates makes what I want work
