macOS Client: Undocumented menu bar status (triangle with exclamation mark)

My MacOS client (v 4.0.6) seems to use a new - presumably - warning icon in certain situations. This icon is shown in the top menu bar instead of the usual NextCloud icon:

Neither does hovering over the icon explain this (--> issue for the sync client), nor does the manual explain this.

Additional Notes

It seems that the icon is named "state-warning.svg" and the Code makes use of this when the status is either SyncResult::Undefined or SyncResult::Problem.

The desktop client (Mac) shows a brown triangle + ! warning icon in the menu bar, but this icon is not described in the desktop usage documentation at user_manual/en/desktop/usage.html. Users have no way to know what it means.

The popup window used to explain what was wrong. For the macOS file provider in particular, there used to be this known issue with the code simply not interpreting the initial "all is fine" status correctly and resulting in this display without further information out of error. 😬

Our second release candidate of 34.0.0 is already in discussion but the user interface will change significantly until the final release. It should retain its self-explanatory, though. Redundant documentation in the manual would not add value in that case, I assume. 🤔

I found this issue by accident because I looked for something else. Personally, I am not content with the organization of the documentation at the moment because things like this slip past too easily. 😵‍💫
