Consider supporting read/write git URLs

I notice in the readme it says this:

It is strongly recommended that read-only git URIs are used.

However, it doesn't explain why. We have a use case for doing read/write checkouts so users can contribute back to the projects.

Would you consider looking at a pull request for read/write URLs? If not, can you explain why in the readme?

It should work. I should look at the documentation and explain that there are risks around allowing a machine with a regularly timed git job pushing to your repository could contribute significantly to the number of commits in your repository. I did intend on extending this module to do commits and pushes, it is just not a feature I needed at the time, so it was omitted
