We still need support for MongoDB 4.2 in mongosh, and other consumers of mongodb-runner still have to start 4.2 instances.

Just checking, we don't want to keep explicit 8.0 right?

I guess we can have 4.2 and 8.0/9.0 that should be fine. I'm not sure the log format changed but it's worth checking.

The mongodb Node.js driver dropped MongoDB 4.2 support in 7.6.0, so the
^7.5.0 range resolved to 7.7.x and the 4.2 docker tests failed with
MongoServerSelectionError. Pin to ~7.5.0 to keep 4.2 coverage.

Parametrize the docker "on Linux" tests over 4.2.x, 8.0.x and 9.0.x
(replset, sharded and TLS standalone), with per-version distro and TLS
arguments.
