Actions

Built in: Change Password, Gather Logs, Restart Intune Agent, Open Management App, Software Update, Get Support, Reboot. Any of them can be hidden.

On top of that, you define your own — with or without root — and they can be triggered from the app, the menu bar popover or the command line. See Customization and CLI.

Administrator rights

Time-limited elevation with a typed reason, a root-owned audit log, an optional webhook, and an optional allowlist that demotes anyone who should not be an administrator. See Admin elevation.

Notifications

Software updates, application updates, a reboot reminder, and in Fleet mode install results, available updates and failing compliance checks. An optional reminder to sign in, when Fleet Desktop SSO is enabled, is off unless you turn it on. Clicking one opens the relevant page in the app. Cadence and copy are configurable; NotificationInterval set to 0 turns them all off.

Making it yours

Name, logo, light and dark variants, accent colour, menu bar icon, which cards and buttons appear, custom cards from a JSON file, a Markdown page, and embedded web views for your knowledge base and Company Portal. See Customization.

Interfaces

  • The main window.
  • A menu bar popover with compact cards and the first six of your actions.
  • A supportcompanion:// URL scheme for opening a specific page or running an action. See Using the app.
  • SupportCompanionCLI, bundled in the app. See CLI.

Languages

Swedish, Norwegian, French, German and Japanese, falling back to English. See Localization.
