## Why Running both Dependabot and Renovate caused the `# vX.Y.Z` comments next to pinned action SHAs to drift. Dependabot updates the SHA but not the comment, Renovate trusts the comment, and the result is digest PRs that downgrade: - #323 would move setup-uv from v10.3.3 back to v10.2.0 - #316 would move codecov-action from v7.1.1 back to v7.0.0 ## Changes - Remove `.github/dependabot.yml` and `.github/workflows/dependabot-auto-merge.yaml`. - Port their behaviour to `renovate.json`: - `dependencies` label on every PR, plus `github_actions` or `python`/`uv` by ecosystem - monthly `uv.lock` maintenance, replacing Dependabot's monthly uv update - squash auto-merge of **minor/patch** updates, replacing the fastify merge action with `target: minor`. `platformAutomerge` is off because `main` has no required status checks, so GitHub native auto-merge would not wait for CI. Renovate merges only after every check is green. Digest and major updates still need a manual merge. - disable myst-parser updates for the `python_version < '3.10'` constraint; v5 needs Python ≥ 3.11, so that update can't be resolved (#308) - Rename the just recipes `gh-pr-list-dependabot[-all]` to `gh-pr-list-renovate[-all]`. Validated with `renovate-config-validator --strict`. ## Follow-up Close #323 and #316 (downgrades) and #308 (can't be resolved).
