- Point Cloud latest updates page at 2026-08-28 (was still on 4_28) - Rename kobiton-four-latest page/navtitle to "Cloud latest updates" - Remove Legacy latest updates from nav (page retained) - Drop duplicative italicized date under weekly page titles - Rewrite date-versioning NOTE on 6 weekly pages: fix inaccurate "corresponding date" language and add publication-cadence + Component versions pointer line Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Reframe Flutter iOS 17+ bullet as added support instead of a fix - Drop "safe" from new app-versions endpoint description - Move API v2 context into DB-errors bullet and drop silent-failure clause - Rename Automate plugin section to Kobiton MCP Plugin for clarity - Rename deviceConnect section to deviceConnect Console; update bullet wording accordingly Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Swap em-dash for colon in MCP-server bullet - Add commas after introductory "Previously" in MCP + passcode bullets - Replace Scriptless Test Runs bullet with clearer Test Cases vs. Scriptless Test Runs framing; drop internal "Revisit" jargon - Stash draft PR-reply on Component versions section as a comment; section content unchanged Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Rename mixed-session section header to use "mixed"; rewrite overview to drop wrong-scoped "(scriptless)" and duplication with bullets - Replace Revisit-run bullet with Test Runs framing; drop internal "Revisit" jargon - Trim deviceConnect section: drop CoreDevice-tunnel bullet (internal engineering framing), keep System-page fix, rename section to deviceConnect Console - Remove Emulator and Simulator section: no active customer usage; came from single-customer verification - Remove Device Inspector section: fix is not end-to-end complete without pending Portal-side change - Preserve removal rationale as commented REMOVED-at-review notes so PR reviewers see why sections dropped Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Kobiton version management: rewrite bullet 2 to include purple "newer version available" banner that has since become present in the UI; update reviewer note to record the state change since draft time
- Merge XIUM section into Automation sessions since XIUM is the default automation; UiScrollable bullet moves in unchanged, reviewer note folded in
- Delete deviceConnect section; fold its termination-reason bullet into Automation sessions with less techy wording ("active client requests" instead of "in-flight requests", drops "clients"), audience is automation clients
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Rename Host machines section to Device Management, matching the customer-known admin page name
- Drop getApp MCP tool bullet from Apps and app storage as routine MCP tool fix (mirrors the API v2 fix already there); omission recorded in reviewer note
- Remove deviceConnect section: bullets 1 and 3 (macOS WatchDog service recovery, adb reboot bootloader restricted-shell bypass) dropped as internal / our-own-regression; bullet 2 rewritten as user-facing Device passcode entry ("some iOS devices failing to start sessions with a passcode-related initialization error")
- Rename XIUM section to Appium automation; XIUM is the default and shouldn't be featured in headers, only in bullets when factually relevant
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Aug 28 page: - Appium AI enhancements: drop Anthropic Claude models and Kobiton-hosted LLM gateway bullets (manager: internal-only setup); drop coord-space conventions bullet (Tu confirmed no current customer action needed, future-proofing only); drop Temperature-removed bullet (Tu confirmed server-side only, never a session capability, nothing to migrate); drop base-URL override API key bullet (same self-hosted-LLM audience as removed Anthropic/gateway bullets); one bullet remains (screenshots default) - Remove ADB shell section: consolidated onto Aug 14 with reworded not-supported list - API v2: rewrite installed-applications bullet with app_version_id / kobiton-store:v equivalence per ticket confirmation; remove Portal API for gRPC URL bullet (Portal APIs not documented externally) - deviceConnect section: drop network-capture burst bullet (internal framing, no clean rewrite); rename to Xiaomi device behavior (describes what changed, not the internal component) Aug 14 page: - ADB shell on Public Cloud devices section consolidated: fold in Aug 28 additions (further permissiveness, Portal manual-session toolbar parity); drop "newly" framing since content spans two release weeks; rewrite "dangerous patterns" as neutral "The following actions are not supported:" list Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Swap em-dashes in user-facing prose for colons, periods, or parentheses per house style. Comments/reviewer notes not touched since they don't render. - Aug 21: section header em-dash to colon; "Authorization is unchanged" clause to period; "for example" clause to parenthetical - Aug 28: report-name em-dash to period-and-continue Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Required fixes (intro-phrase comma convention slipped through on inherited bullets):
- Jul 24 Appium bullet: "Previously plugins" → "Previously, plugins"
- Aug 7 Device details bullets (2): "Previously the row" / "Previously the newest" → comma-inserted
- Aug 7 Accessibility bullet: "Previously the audio" → "Previously, the audio"
- Aug 28 Kobiton CLI bullet: "Previously Public Cloud" → clearer "Previously, CLI sessions could not start on Public Cloud devices"
Optional improvements applied:
- Aug 28 Reports bullet joined into one sentence: "New report: *Parallel Sessions over time*, which tracks..."
- Aug 14 CLI session bullet tightened: dropped redundant "against booked devices"; subject-verb parallelism ("sessions" both sentences)
Also removed Appium AI enhancements section entirely from Aug 28. Cloud release notes cannot reference dc.ini (Standalone/Hybrid-only file; Cloud customers cannot access it, Kobiton manages Cloud deviceConnect). Remaining bullet was a dc.ini opt-out; the default change itself isn't actionable for Cloud users who don't configure LLM setup. All Appium AI tickets preserved as REMOVED reviewer note for compilation-workflow reference.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Rename Aug 14 section "Automation sessions" to "Appium automation" for consistency with the Aug 21 section name; both weeks now use the canonical "don't feature XIUM in headers" wording - Rewrite Aug 28 Kobiton CLI bullet to drop repetition: "Previously, they could not start on Public Cloud devices" instead of restating "CLI sessions" and "Public Cloud devices" Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Drop "Kobiton 4+" from the Standalone latest updates page title and navtitle to match the Cloud latest updates rename pattern. Page contents (include target) unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
