Rationale: These bindings are horrendously out of date and were never even close to achieving feature-parity. Frankly put, if you were able to utilize these in their previous state, you might as well use socket APIs directly, since the only thing this abstracted away was the cross-platform aspect of it all. Whilst I intend on writing new bindings for netkit, they will most likely be in the form of a separate project, as to not hinder progress here. C bindings are not, and have never been a priority, so it seems redundant to keep known broken code around.
