Native kernel: tree-sitter 0.25 error-recovery livelock on TSX (#5997) still hits kernel-routed parses #19
Found in the PR #18 review (F1). PR #18 fixes the livelock for the WebAssembly parser only (vendored runtime 0.25.10 + tree-sitter/tree-sitter#5997).
codegraph-kernel links Rust tree-sitter = "0.25" and sets no progress callback or timeout. TypeScript/TSX are kernel-routed by default whenever kernel/codegraph-kernel.node is present, and release bundles ship it. On those builds a .tsx file holding <a {{b:>c:d(e f) still costs 3 worker timeouts and is dropped. local-install.sh deploys ship no kernel and are not affected.
Options:
Move the kernel to the tree-sitter 0.27.1 crate. Kernel grammars compile from C, so the legacy-dylink problem that blocks web-tree-sitter 0.27 does not apply.
Or vendor the patch through [patch.crates-io].
Add a kernel test with the same inputs as __tests__/tsx-error-recovery-hang.test.ts.
