This is a data R package, that contains network data sets,

## Goals and non-goals

igraphdata aims to:

- Ship a small collection of network data sets as ready-to-use `igraph` objects,
lazily loaded so that `karate` or `USairports` is there as soon as the package is attached.
- Record where each network came from.
Every data set documents its source and the reference to cite.
- Keep the licensing of the individual data sets visible.
`LICENSE` lists the copyright holder and the licence of each one, separately from the package licence.
- Ship the "Les Miserables" network as example files in the GML, GraphML and Pajek formats,
reachable with `lesmis_gml()`, `lesmis_graphml()` and `lesmis_pajek()`.

with `ns_metadata()`, `ns_df()` and `ns_graph()`.

It is explicitly not trying to:

- Implement graph algorithms.
The data sets are here to be analysed with igraph, which this package imports.
- Generate networks.
The bundled data sets are fixed, and ship as data files rather than being constructed when the package loads.
- Be an exhaustive catalogue of network data.
The netzschleuder accessors reach a much larger collection that stays outside the package.
- Download whole netzschleuder collections, or files of unbounded size.
Downloading a whole collection is refused, and `ns_df()` takes a `size_limit` argument that defaults to 1 GB.
