Using the variant value for Opera (opera-gx), can now launch Opera GX in macOS as well as in Windows with the same value: "opera-gx".

Hmm, I'm not sure this makes sense. It should be using the opera setup, for starters. It also doesn't match what we do for anything else. We'd normally have opera-gx as a variant. Can you explain what's going on here and why this is required? I'm not sure if there's a better solution for this.

Hi Tim,

  1. I tried it with the opera setup before, but it just breaks. Works with Chrome setup though.
  2. I'm trying to launch Opera GX on Windows and Mac, passing in the browser key 'opera-gx' works on Mac, not on Windows. Passing in just 'opera' launches "normal Opera" on both Windows and Mac.
  3. It's required for Windows in order to launch Opera GX (not Opera) via the key 'opera-gx'.
