feat(team): host run delivers wakes; pin the #2746 hold class; host status hold runs (#1178) - #1183
Conversation
A wake send Orca refuses, twice, leaves no record and no ack; each pass is a fresh full-line request, and the next tick is typed and acked. A send Orca accepts without a turn start is never retyped (Enter-only on the same line) and never blocks a later, different wake (cleared first). These pass on main. Each is killed by a mutant: a refused send kept as a blocking record, a retype of our own line, our leftover held uncleared. …atus (red, #1178) status.json keeps when a worker's current run of holds began (only a delivered or reconciled event ends it); team host status shows each worker's newest-event age and flags a worker held over 30 minutes, in text and --json. Red: WorkerStatus has no HeldSince yet (compile), and host status prints neither field. ) status.json keeps heldSince per worker: set by its first hold, kept through holds, deferrals, skips and errors, cleared by a delivered or reconciled event. team host status adds lastAgeSeconds, heldSince and heldOver30m (--json, additive) and the text row shows the age, 'held since' and 'HELD OVER 30m: no delivery since <time>'. Codes and times only. The move-from-the-router how-to gains a hold-reason table and a CLI-side cutover/rollback section (cold switch per Holger 2026-10-29), stating that wake delivery is not wired into host run yet and ticker-wake stays on until it is. Help, agentic usage and the host-delivery plan updated. Worker: Jonas (cli-engineer) <hrn:worker:hadronmemory.com:hadron-dev-team:jonas> Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…nd wiring (red, #1178) Item 0 of #1178 (Marco's ruling #44471): no production code reads dueWakes, so delivery.enabled delivers chat but no tick/task wakes. Pins: paged read to exhaustion with the host key and no session, no accepts (no STOP offered) and no workerRefs; reason/timing/channel mapping; event wording; budget exhausted; scope refusal turns delivery off; a broken page refuses the read; acknowledgeWakes sends one proof and maps the counts; no proof in any error. host run --once with delivery on reads due wakes and status records the wake read. Red: no adapter. Worker: Jonas (cli-engineer) <hrn:worker:hadronmemory.com:hadron-dev-team:jonas> Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…geWakes) (#1178) Item 0 of #1178 (Marco's ruling #44471): the GraphQL adapter the poller's wake seam waited for. hostServer.Wakes reads dueWakes paged to exhaustion with the host key (no accepts: never a STOP notice; no workerRefs), maps reasons, timing and channel presence, and refuses a broken page whole; a spent budget returns no wakes. AckWake sends one proof to acknowledgeWakes and maps the counts. Errors carry codes only, never a proof. wireDelivery now sets the deliverer's wake server, the wake status hook, and EnableWakes, and returns the deliverer. AckMixed stays off (A′ is on server main; its deployment was not verified from here): a wake naming channels or a mention is typed once and acked when it no longer does. Added after the red commit: TestWireDeliveryAcknowledgesWakesThroughThe HostServer, because a mutant dropping the wake ack server survived. Help, agentic usage, the how-to, the plan and unbound-ops updated. …ller first (#1178) Joost's BLIND P2s on #1183. Wakes tracks every cursor seen, so a cycle of any length refuses the read. The how-to's rollback now stops team host run and waits for it to exit (config is read only at start; a stop signal drains in-flight deliveries) before ticker-wake restarts. …ld run survives a restart (#1178) Jane's LOCAL P2 on #1183: NewStatusBook now loads the last snapshot's workers (a missing or corrupt one starts empty), so heldSince keeps its start across a poller restart and a long hold stays flagged. The how-to says so, and that a worker removed from the config keeps its last row. BLIND delta: APPROVE at Both prior P2s closed in the fresh run: the seen-cursor set rejects a multi-page cycle, and rollback now requires stopping the poller and waiting for process exit before restarting ticker-wake. No new P1/P2 established. Approval carries to this exact head for the delta; no automatic carry to a later head. The run retains two P3s: nonempty end-to-end delivery wiring coverage, and the compatibility contract/test for unknown task events. It cannot establish shutdown draining, status-map handling, mixed acknowledgements, proof expiry or uncertain-send guarantees from this delta alone; no local/QA/§10 scope claimed. LOCAL delta APPROVE — 2a254b6, compared independently from a1558de. Both finder P2s closed: my unchanged restart probe retains01:00 heldSince after a03:00 restart/hold; my unchanged c1→c2→c1 probe refuses at call3 with zero wakes. Read the full five-file/four-commit delta: saved-worker reload and seen-cursor set only in production; restart/cycle/boundary/error tests and rollback docs account for the rest. New rollback correctly waits for host-run exit. Missing/corrupt snapshot deliberately starts empty; continuity cannot recover lost observations, and retained removed-worker rows are disclosed. Full tests and scoped delivery/hostpoller/team race PASS. Closes #1178. Refs hadron-memory/hadron-server#2746 and hadron-memory/hadron-server#2016. This PR leaves hadron-server#2746, #2755 and #2030 open.
hadron team host runnow delivers tick and task wakes. The #2746 hold class is pinned.team host statusshows how long each worker has been held and flags anything held over 30 minutes. The how-to has a CLI-side cutover and rollback section. This is the precondition for Holger's cold cutover offticker-wake(decisionhrn:node:hadronmemory.com:hadron-business:decisions:wake-delivery-cli-cold-cutover).What changed
0. Wake delivery is wired (added to the issue by Marco's ruling, team chat #44471; Petra added it as item 0). Before this PR, nothing in production read
dueWakes, sodelivery.enableddelivered chat but no wakes.internal/cmd/team/host_wakes.go:hostServer.WakesreadsdueWakeswith the host key until the last page, with no session.accepts, so the server never offers a STOP notice this deliverer can't type. It sends noworkerRefs: the server'skeyEntryprefilter limits a host key to its own registration, the same asdeliveryBatches.deliverAfter/busyDeadlineand whether it names channels.AckWakesends one proof toacknowledgeWakes.wireDeliverynow sets the deliverer's wake server, the wake status hook andEnableWakes, and returns the deliverer so a test can pin that.AckMixedstays off. A′ (server#2072) is on server main via #2084, but I couldn't verify its deployment:server-infogives only a version (0.21.0), and introspection is off. With it off, a wake that names channels or a mention is typed once and acknowledged only when it no longer does, typically after the worker reads its mentions. On the live App, 27 of 31 due wakes named channels, so this decides how most wakes are acknowledged after cutover. It is a cutover decision for Marco and Hugo: verify A′ on prod, then turnAckMixedon (today that is a code change).1. The #2746 class is pinned (
internal/delivery/wake_hold_class_1178_test.go). These tests pass on main, as the acceptance asks:transport, as orcaterm reads an error reply carrying a request id) leaves no record and no ack. Each pass sends a fresh full-line request, and the next tick is typed, recorded and acked.2. Readable hold reasons.
