Overview

  • Adds Metal bf16 NEG support using existing scalar/vector unary kernels.

Requirements

Why just NEG specifically?

I started with NEG to keep the initial change small and straightforward to validate. There’s no technical reason to limit BF16 support to NEG, the other unary ops could be enabled after validation.
