Closes #4941

What

v12 named a single option when an end card was refused for contrast: the smallest shade of her colour. v13 names three, as Stark and Adobe Leonardo do:

  • the shade, now finer: SUGGEST_STEPS goes from 10 to 64 (at most 4 of 255 per channel);
  • her own colour (end_card_fix_palette): one of the colours already on her card that reads, the nearest to the refused one. It is not offered when it equals the shade (palette_offered);
  • her background (end_card_fix_bg): her background shaded until every line on the card reads. It is offered only when such a background exists (bg_offered). BG_FIX_ALWAYS_EXISTS = false, because a dark call and a light button cannot both read on one background.

Verified

tri spec-check (new): 30/30, 0 of 30 vacuous, 31/31 controls, sealed. It caught a stale control on its first run: #26 still anchored on the old SUGGEST_NEVER = 11.

A correction to #4940: its "0 of 53 vacuous" counted a second spec left in the scratch folder. For that spec alone it was 0 of 29. The conclusion (nothing vacuous) was right, but the number described more than this spec.

The host binding (render and player) lands in gHashTag/999-multibots-telegraf.

… shade; a finer step

The shade is one option of three, as a contrast tool offers them: her own
card colour that reads (end_card_fix_palette, palette_offered), and her
background shaded until every line reads (end_card_fix_bg, bg_offered --
not always there: BG_FIX_ALWAYS_EXISTS = false). SUGGEST_STEPS 10 -> 64.
30/30, 0 of 30 vacuous, 31/31 controls.

These columns do not partition: 3 + 36 + 0 + 0 = 39, and there are 40 open PRs. A PR is being counted twice or not at all.

Seal Status

  • ⚠️ STALE -- sha256(compiler.rs)=403499176a5d != manifest seal=87e5cbd3ad94.
    The committed NMSE numbers were certified against an older compiler.rs.
    Run scripts/reseal-check.sh locally for the two-step reseal command (advisory; not a merge gate).

Six checks are red here: coverage, Corpus ratchet (expected-failure ledger), Documented t27c subcommands exist, duplicate-bodies, emit-bitexact, spec-guards. They are the same six that were red on #4931 and #4940 (both merged), and none of them touches specs/automation/crm-story-reel.t27. No fix for them exists to port.

The required check is green, as are the other 25 runs.

Local gate (tri spec-check): 30/30, 0 of 30 vacuous, 31/31 controls, sealed.
