ExplorerPro 1.0.8 makes properties queries opt-in: opening Properties no longer reads file contents or recursively scans a folder. Bounded subprocess queries, timeouts, placeholder checks and explicit partial statistics keep the UI responsive.

The update also preserves editable category values across language changes, exports privacy terms beginning with "=" as literal XLSX cells, and includes the current sidebar/preview and deletion fixes from master. Build wrappers now use the central scanner and a complete Onedir runtime.

Validation: 536 Python tests passed, seven environment-specific skips. Ruff and diff checks pass. The unsigned x64 MSIX passes the central package/icon gate and runtime inventory. Its unpacked EXE passes native Windows sidebar, TXT/PDF/XLSX preview, privacy-list and properties-helper smoke checks with four screenshots.

Store package: 1.0.8.0, SHA256 6f0d862f17776a433527e3c6b957b32178ed8fe6d498af1b6bd301ffda73339e. German and English release notes are included. Store submission remains subject to the pipeline's actual user icon approval.
