The project still declares support for Node >=20.19.0, and .github/workflows/nodejs-test.yml explicitly runs npm run test:vi on Node 20, but the newly locked Vitest 5.0.1 package requires Node ^22.12.0 || ^24.0.0 || >=26.0.0 (package-lock.json lines 3711-3713). This leaves the Node 20 CI job and developers using a supported project runtime invoking an unsupported test runner; either remain on Vitest 4 or raise the project/CI minimum Node version in the same change.
