Problem deleting a folder

What Happened?

When deleting a folder in Files, the application does not delete the folder and does not display an error message. Even after refreshing the folder, it still remains.

This issue occurs frequently. The installed Files package version is 7.3.2+r6768+pkg144~ubuntu8.1.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Files.
2. Navigate to a folder.
3. Delete only one folder.

Expected Behavior

The selected folder should be deleted immediately and disappear from the current view.

amd64 (on most hardwares)

Session Type

Secure Session (Wayland, This is the default)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

No logs are available.

Custom-built computer.

@Zazolo Thanks for the bug report. I have not been able to reproduce it so far; could you give any further information about the circumstances under which this happens. Does it always happen in those circumstances?

• Does it occur in all view modes are just one?
• Where is the affected folder stored - locally, remotely or on an external device?
• What are the permissions and ownership?
• Does it affect any folder for which you have the appropriate permissions?
• If you run io.elementary.files from the commandline, are there any warnings when the bug occurs?
• Does it affect all ways of deleting the folder (Delete key, context menu, drag to trash)?
• Does it affect permanent delete (Shift + Delete)?

Possibly related to #2566 although I have not personally experienced this with the current release.

Hi @jeremypw i've noticed that it happens when I try to delete a folder witch contains spaces in the name or accents. In my language is common to use accents (Brazilian Portuguese). It only occours when i use the column view mode (Ctrl + 3), on the other ways the folder deletes. The folder is created by the user, in Documents folder, with own permissions.

Running io.elementary.files notthing appears.

If I drag the folder to trash or use the button available on the context menu it deletes, but if I press the Delete key on keyboard nothing happens
