MeetWave is a Windows desktop app that records a meeting locally from system audio and microphone, transcribes it, and produces a summary with action items. Recording is always started by the user and no bot joins the call, which is the main difference from the bot-based note takers.
I am the developer of the app. It has been in public release since May 2026 and is currently at version 1.17.5.
Evidence of being built with Electron: the app is closed source, built on Electron 39 and packaged with electron-builder into an NSIS installer. The installed directory contains the standard Electron runtime layout (
MeetWave.exe,resources/app.asar,LICENSES.chromium.html,chrome_100_percent.pak), and the About screen in the app reports the Electron and Chromium versions. Installer available from https://meetwave.io.Added
