P0: Redesign the Python SDK documentation using One Identity #285

Closed

Description

@rmcdaniel

Priority: P0, explicitly requested for the redesign. Accountable repository agent: sdk-python. General coordinates the shared identity and cross-repository delivery.

The current product presents different identities across its sites. Implement the supplied redesign so users retain one product identity while moving between the main documentation, Python, Rust, PHP, Cloud and status surfaces.

Design authority

  • One Identity redesign.
  • Supplied eight-page Durable Workflow — One Identity PDF, SHA256 5a71d08636a1e2714e8dd4b6561ce0a619453c842de4de647cc3e345f7706e50.
  • This repository's exact reference: Python.dc.html, SHA256 2201ea7d3487bedcb93a07acf0f7f9094d3e4fa12f6f4c3ec99fcaac95e46d28. The verified original export and shared identity export are being handed to the assigned agent through the existing private artifact channel; do not put private storage/workspace details into public source.

Scope and acceptance

Repository acceptance:

  • Implement the Python hero/install panel with PyPI/source links and the self-hosted/Cloud/API entry actions.
  • Implement the four Client / Worker / Workflow / Activity explanatory cards with working API links, then the readable greeter quickstart and runtime ownership cards.
  • Preserve a complete runnable current quickstart. Keep workflow/activity names, client/worker task queue and registration consistent, and retain source line breaks/indentation and usable copy behavior rather than the PDF's flattened extraction. The label “step2 of3” must connect to the actual preceding/following steps.
  • Render current published Python/package/support facts rather than freezing the mock's2.0 label. Preserve documentation routes, generated API, stable channel and code semantics. This is independent of#123 collector work and the held#184 operating/review path.

Implement the supplied One Durable Workflow redesign faithfully in this repository's existing site components. The exported HTML is a visual specification; its support.js and bundled React runtime are reference-viewer files, not production dependencies.

Shared acceptance:

  • Use the unchanged canonical flowchart SVG, original colors/proportions, and Durable Workflow / <surface> lockup. Surface names are lowercase JetBrains Mono in Durable Green; dark mode uses Mint and the logo's Paper chip (8px radius, 4px padding). Remove the competing DW/generic marks.
  • Apply the same light-default, dark-opt-in palette, Space Grotesk600 headings, Inter400/500/600 text and JetBrains Mono code/labels. Keep code blocks Ink in both themes, 6px/44px actions, 8px bordered cards, the reference spacing/hierarchy, and status-only amber/red/blue.
  • Use the common Docs / SDKs / Cloud / Pricing / Status navigation, keyboard-accessible Python/Rust/PHP SDK switcher, current-surface treatment and contextual CTA. Keep the four-column Brand / SDKs / Run / Project footer. Its linked status pill must reflect accepted current status or an honest unknown/stale state; the mock's static green text is not health evidence.
  • Keep working URLs, page anchors, search, API/reference navigation, compatibility and legal links. Make the layout work at desktop, tablet and narrow mobile widths, with keyboard/focus/contrast, semantic landmarks and working copy controls; code scrolling stays inside its block.
  • Use actual published package/support facts and real service data. The mock's versions, example output, dates, prices and health percentages are not new release, support, billing or availability authority.
  • Return an ordinary draft PR, current-head required checks, built-page screenshots in both themes at representative desktop/mobile widths, functional link/copy/navigation checks, and the actual deployment/live verification through the repository's existing protected flow. Preserve current operating, publication and credential boundaries.

Shared identity lead and canonical token/asset acceptance: durable-workflow/durable-workflow.github.io#483. Match that issue and the supplied identity artboard; report concrete inconsistencies without blocking independent source work.

sdk-python owns this P0 and has verified/read the supplied eight-page design and exact Python/shared identity exports, including the unchanged canonical SVG. Implementation is isolated from accepted main 4bf079f4 in the existing MkDocs components; no reference-viewer React/support.js will be added.

First source slice: shared green/Paper/Ink typography and tokens; canonical lockup, global navigation, keyboard SDK switcher and honest linked status footer; then Python hero/install, four linked concepts, complete formatted three-step greeter and runtime ownership cards. Existing API/search/mobile navigation, credential distinctions and published package/support semantics stay in scope.

The prior #284 actual-main/portal/cleanup checkpoint is complete (receipt); additional #123 implementation and #215 authoring are deferred. The concrete inline-clock finding is retained on #215.

A required delivery boundary is the current stable publisher's whole-tag checkout. Following the shared delivery authority, I will prepare a narrow docs-source/published-SDK-source split, preserving explicit stable tag/release/PyPI checks and preview-only main, with separate immutable docs/API audit revisions. Stable API/examples remain bound to the published package; no fabricated SDK tag, main API promotion, workflow exception or deployment is implied by source authoring. Exact rendered checks and publisher input/effect graph will be returned before the actual protected deployment decision.

Local ordinary documentation/browser tooling is being prepared for built screenshots and functional checks, with at most two jobs and no APT, image acquisition, credential or SDK release operation. Docs #483 owns the common links/tokens/status semantics and has been asked for its current map. Next checkpoint is the concrete draft plus both-theme desktop/mobile renders and working link/copy/navigation checks.

The coherent redesign is in draft #286. It now includes the canonical self-hosted fonts/logo/tokens, shared status module (final Docs source f8198fa2, blob 2659eae6410ddbc595c67e414e37ede75074cbc7), accessible shared shell, full greeter, 4/2/1 concept-card layout and runtime cards.

The publisher source split preserves published 2.14.1@dc47958c: all SDK documentation/nav/API source comes from that tag, current revision supplies the closed presentation overlay and tooling, every example fence remains identical, all 44 source files match the exact installed published wheel, and the v2 audit emits both immutable revisions and wheel/API-inventory digests. Main pushes remain preview-only; the only proposed delivery is the existing protected docs.yml dispatch from accepted main with stable_tag=2.14.1, after actual-main checks and a separately returned concrete packet.

36 local source/separation controls and 14 canonical status controls pass. Strict stable build, 15 API cross-reference pages and 24 analytics pages pass. Actual Chrome156 functional QA passed 8 landing views +8 API views, complete clipboard contents and keyboard controls; the affected layout follow-up passed 8 views in both themes at1440/1024/390/320, with action-text contrast >=4.977:1. The final one-line card padding reset is ordinary source styling and will be included in current-head hosted screenshots. All browser/server processes are independently absent. Earlier failed cells and CI results are retained, not relabelled.

Owner sdk-python: finish the exact-head required checks and rendered artifact review, merge normally when green, verify actual-main/deploy-skipped and published-portal preservation, then return dispatch inputs/effects. No dispatch yet. The three status fixtures are synthetic; Cloud owns real CORS/public-feed acceptance. #184 remains independently held with its original failed evidence and cutoffs.

Current head 347b695 retains a concrete failed hosted browser check: run42128337300/job127598480942 stopped at the accepted central APT guard with APT 3.2.0 does not prove the fixed 3.2.1ubuntu0.1 floor. No browser installer ran after that refusal. The earlier source/keyboard/copy/layout failures remain separately attributed.

The replacement is the single shared no-APT installed-Chrome path, not execution of the provider's raw writable /opt tree. General supplied the finite observed Ubuntu26/image20261101.186.1, google-chrome-stable156.0.8078.79-1/amd64 input: complete tree SHA-256 c5cf4ef866aa78adce5ceda2d29863a721ccdaa53812c7c65ada23187e3c6bc7 (260 entries/466,776,155B), executable SHA-256 da143614d917f346b02c1b29587cc13bf891d4b73faf2bea7b20cbd8fa61510f. Those are observed input identities, not browser/loader/custody qualification.

Cloud owns the generic complete private non-writable-tree/closed-loader successor. CLI confirmed there is no accepted central helper yet and owns its eventual single public-safe adoption under central #295 after that source is frozen/reviewed. Both owners were asked directly for the exact reuse interface; General has the concrete failed run. Python will adopt that accepted source, retain all current product checks, and run fresh exact-head qualification. No separate custody implementation, raw-path execution, installer or fallback is being introduced here. The prior local Chrome checks do not replace this required hosted result.

The independent Sonar correction removes unnecessary editable SDK installation from source-preview documentation. An import-denial control confirms strict source documentation builds without importing SDK runtime code; stable still installs and byte-checks its exact published wheel. This small source delta is prepared locally for the combined next qualification after the shared browser input is available.

Fresh anonymous readback at23:22UTC: all five restored public portal byte identities still match, PyPI latest remains2.14.1 with wheel1b3bc645, the existing annotated tag peels to dc47958, and all five docs-writer status counts are zero. No source merge or protected deployment has occurred. Owner sdk-python retains the input/effect packet and follow-through; #184 remains independently held.

The prepared P0 source is now immutable commit 65f9da489c2ab9289385c5d79bb83e36cd4b1da2 / tree 74000f1032cb0a444dc5db2e6f7c0a5109effc12, backed by wip/sdk-python/20261105-8ba9abd-285-source-preview. It normally incorporates accepted main6e903713 and the source-preview SDK-install removal. The primary PR head347b695 has not been advanced to fire another legacy browser-install path; its actual failed checks remain failed.

The current stable-target build still binds SDK2.14.1@dc47958c, exact wheel1b3bc645 and all44 source bytes; no private/staging paths appear in rendered HTML/assets. The final two-view check at1440light/390dark passed card alignment, typography, fonts, theme, overflow and action contrast>=4.977:1. This follows the separately retained failed margin predecessor and the earlier8-view functional+8API+3 synthetic-status /8-view layout baselines. The owned browser/server/processes are independently absent. These local source checks do not replace the failed hosted result or qualify a browser publisher input.

Next owners/actions: Cloud finishes the generic sealed-Chrome custody source disposition; CLI owns the single accepted public-safe helper/interface under central295, including Python-callable inspection/verification. Both owners were asked directly and confirmed no accepted helper is available yet. sdk-python then adopts the exact source, preserves every product check, pushes the normally refreshed PR pair, and completes current-head/main/artifact qualification before returning the distinct protected main + stable_tag=2.14.1 dispatch packet. No raw writable Chrome, duplicate custody implementation, installer/fallback, source merge or deployment is being substituted. Real status CORS/public-feed acceptance remains Cloud-owned and separate from synthetic fixtures.

P0 delivery blocker has a confirmed owner and finite next step. CLI returned that Cloud owns the three remaining custody corrections on the existing finite browser prototype; the producer-only Cloud630 head 77ce79e6 is separate. Cloud must freeze the corrected generic public-safe blobs/interface, then CLI owns the single central295 adoption/publication interface, including Python-callable inspect/verify/revalidate/cleanup with receipt-bound JSON. sdk-python owns the thin consumer and fresh exact-head qualification afterward. I asked Cloud directly for that correction checkpoint and CLI for the interface. There is no accepted central browser pin yet.

Current saved Python presentation/source remains 65f9da489c2ab9289385c5d79bb83e36cd4b1da2 on its WIP ref; primary PR286 remains 347b6957, with its real hosted APT refusal and Sonar failures preserved. The bounded native source UI checks do not replace the hosted prerequisite. No raw writable Chrome, custody relaxation, duplicate helper, installer/acquisition/fallback, main integration or publisher dispatch was started. The missing browser helper is independent of central297’s PHP installer profile.

Cloud returned the exact browser correction checkpoint. The retained prototype is cloud/629-installed-chrome-custody at a0bd1ab2f31c7bca696bff35031ee31a47105898 / tree d9d67feff11091f0ec42241137438ed991c2ea62. Three findings remain open: temporary root allocation before retained root custody, receipt publication before duplicate-descriptor retention, and child start/logging before entering its finalizer. No corrected browser head is ready or wired.

Cloud owns those corrections after its separately selected status freshness-parity source checkpoint, then returns one frozen generic blob/receipt-JSON handoff to CLI295. CLI owns the single public Python-callable inspect/verify/revalidate/cleanup interface; sdk-python owns the thin caller and fresh exact-head qualification. Both owners were asked directly and supplied this sequence. The separately merged producer-only77ce source is not the browser handoff or live status acceptance.

Python's current source/native checks remain as recorded; current PR286's real APT/Sonar failures remain unqualified. No duplicate custody implementation, raw writable Chrome execution, installer/acquisition/fallback, publisher or additional full browser matrix was started. P0 remains open until the current-head hosted source checks, protected publication and actual live portal checks finish.

General selects the smallest normal browser-source correction for this P0: keep the existing locked Playwright package and its bundled Chromium download, and remove only the optional operating-system dependency installation (--with-deps). Preserve the current runner/platform, tool pins, official download kind, authenticated dependency trust, job bounds and all functional/layout/API assertions. This is the same source-CI shape now normally merged in PHP318, whose real source checks passed; PHP's Ubuntu24 result is not proof of Python's Ubuntu26 libraries. Python's own changed-head qualification must prove launch and the full unchanged checks.

Playwright documents browser installation and system-dependency installation separately. There is no APT edge when this path only downloads the already selected browser. Remove an APT-floor prerequisite only from that proven no-APT path; do not remove a check from any remaining APT operation. Keep package/browser identity and actual launched-version evidence. Missing libraries must fail normally without install-deps, host-validation overrides, an installed-Chrome fallback or a retry loop.

Batch this with the already prepared unnecessary preview-SDK-install removal, dependency findings and coherent presentation/source split on existing286. This ordinary package-manager invocation needs no new custom browser custodian/interface before source CI. The older writable installed-Chrome proposal and its exact findings remain preserved/unaccepted; no raw0777 mode is admitted or relabelled. CLI retains shared setup/tool applicability ownership and may review the exact small no-APT diff.

This revises the agent default that all browser source work must wait for the sealed-copy prototype. It does not change an operator stop, #184's blocked review, source trust policy or the separate protected publisher decision. Return actual current-head checks/artifact/source facts before normal integration, then the exact matching one-original stable2.14.1 publisher packet. A publisher's normal browser command can be proposed from its matching source proof; it does not borrow PHP's profile or admit any PHP setup. No deployment, new image/tool kind, account, scope or release is selected here.

Following General's source decision, the existing #286 is refreshed normally to 22ca11d / tree fa785db6f237e8de2f804be15456a961cf6c5667, including the prepared preview-SDK-install removal, current-main merge and concept-grid correction.

The two browser commands now use python -m playwright install chromium, removing only optional --with-deps and the APT-only preflight from these no-APT paths. The locked Playwright1.64.1, bundled Chromium kind, ubuntu-latest/Python3.12, trust environment, job limits and full functional/layout/API assertions remain. There is no system-dependency installer, validation override, installed-Chrome route or fallback. Missing runner libraries will remain a real failure. The older writable-Chrome prototype and its three findings remain unaccepted and are not used.

The checker records package version, bundled headless revision/version, actual launched version and OS/architecture, requiring the launched version to match the bundle. The record accompanies the rendered screenshots; it is emitted only after actual launch. 38 focused selector/source-split/no-APT controls and Ruff pass locally. CLI was asked for exact no-APT applicability review. Actual changed-head hosted runs are in progress: Docs 42141331142, normal CI 42141331062, Sonar 42141331417. Prior 347b695 failures remain failed; current runner launch/UI/artifact acceptance is still pending.

This ordinary source command supersedes the default wait for a custom browser helper for this P0. After current-head qualification and normal integration, sdk-python owns actual-main preview/deploy-skipped and stable preservation, then returns the exact protected main/stable_tag=2.14.1 publisher packet. No deployment or #184 action is selected.

The actual bundled-browser path passed on this repository's own hosted runner at 22ca11d, Docs run 42141331142 / attempt1. Runner: Ubuntu26.04.1, image20261101.186.1, Linux x86_64. Locked Playwright1.64.1 downloaded and launched Chromium156.0.8078.4 / revision1248 without APT/system-library installation or a fallback. All eight landing and eight API/theme/functional views passed, including full-program copy, keyboard/drawer/search, fonts, contrast and overflow checks. Cross-references passed15 generated API pages and analytics passed24 pages. CLI's exact no-APT applicability return is separate from this actual launch proof.

Review artifact 13466873294, ZIP SHA256 f76774cd1d41df2c0e0512ec8208eef5d3b6f7558d1c6ade12b3554e147d0a75, contains eight screenshots plus browser evidence, deployment audit and API inventory. The downloaded ZIP digest and all11 safe members were checked. Audit binds source-preview merge c33ba88, parents [6e903713,22ca11d], tree fa785db6 equal to the candidate tree. It makes no published-SDK or deployment claim.

Whole-head22ca qualification remains NONPASSING because two Sonar S8544 findings remain at the version-pinned pip requirements installs. The existing PR now carries the narrow correction at 32b2a62 / tree b438bca7d2a11e29f00f56fb6ba8b763b2df6eac: all42 already-selected Linux/Python3.12 wheel filenames/hashes were verified against official versioned PyPI metadata, with unchanged package versions and zero archive retrieval in that metadata step; both installs now enforce --require-hashes. The pinned bootstrap continues to own pip itself. The 38 focused source controls and Ruff pass; fresh changed-head CI/Docs/Sonar remain pending. No failed result was waived or relabelled.

The source still uses the selected bundled browser. The writable installed-Chrome proposal and #184 stops remain untouched. No publisher/deployment is selected; the exact protected stable packet follows normal source/main acceptance.

Proposed one protected portal publication; no dispatch performed. This packet follows 285's source decision and the shared presentation/SDK-source split.

Source is accepted main d3e7297, tree b438bca7d2a11e29f00f56fb6ba8b763b2df6eac, normal merge of base 6e903713 and reviewed head 32b2a627ea71800a80b87e728f6a537e7355baab. Exact PR checks are 21/21 SUCCESS, normal CI42142014037 / Docs42142014195 / Sonar42142013845. Actual-main qualification is six terminal successful workflows,20 successful checks and the expected deploy skip (CI42143059352, Sonar42143059347, Public Boundary42143059755, CodeQL42143058505, dependency graph42143065055); the correction-triggered docs run 42143059293 built a source preview and its deploy job was skipped. Publishing followers were inspected: a main merge creates no PyPI/tag release, and unselected main docs are preview-only.

Main preview Pages artifact13469575226 was independently inspected: ZIP 799caa3812430248c14a940e94d446f8dcb57cb0d24ac8970cd5893b45f6b1dd, tar 9d2f8862b6c84302573fed41f73adfb3dc66cdf592c58794abe636027ad9f9a3,92 regular files, correct domain and source-preview v2 audit, with both source revisions at main and no published wheel. It was not deployed. Both merged/WIP remote branches are deleted and their absence verified; a detached exact-main review checkout is retained for this pending publisher follow-through.

The source proof uses this repository's actual Ubuntu26.04.1/image20261101.186.1/x86_64 runner, Python3.12, Playwright1.64.1, bundled Chromium156.0.8078.4/revision1248. Docs run42142014195 passed all16 landing/API views, keyboard/copy/fonts/contrast/overflow assertions,15 API cross-reference pages and24 analytics pages. Both pip installs enforce the42 exact existing wheel hashes. Sonar reports zero open PR findings;38 focused selector/source-split/no-APT controls pass. Local stable rendering under an SDK-import denial control preserves the published API inventory below.

    Exact proposed call and inputs

gh workflow run docs.yml --repo durable-workflow/sdk-python --ref main -f stable_tag=2.14.1

Immediately before the single call, sdk-python must recheck main remains d3e7297473ec7b317d6f1f401251dfb412cdb46b, the workflow and inputs below, current release/tag/PyPI identities, protected Pages configuration, and zero queued/in-progress/waiting/pending/requested older docs writers. Any changed input or failed precondition returns without dispatch. No retry, arbitrary ref, alternate publisher, tag mutation or provider-side rollback is proposed. Return the actual run ID after launch; a refusal/failure retains its actual classification and returns for a new decision.

    Input/effect graph

    1. Protected workflow docs.yml from main d3e7297473ec7b317d6f1f401251dfb412cdb46b owns current templates, CSS/JS/fonts/logo, landing presentation and tooling. Workflow SHA256 is fbafcf99e8ba3e0a419bc2aa48dcbc4788a998bb5ccac9bbd574a482f8daabb8; documentation lock SHA256 is 29c761d6a626252fd9ae736f85818badf6afbd6d67400c55d8b0695f6de5c059. Existing pinned checkout/setup/trust actions remain. The build uses read-only repository authority, public metadata/downloads, and the existing canonical public analytics site variable.
    2. stable_tag=2.14.1 resolves the immutable published SDK separately: annotated tag object a2e17a4f2c3c782eecd3a4f44dc848b8f6842b64 peels to dc47958. GitHub release is non-draft/non-prerelease; PyPI latest remains2.14.1 with unyanked universal wheel and sdist, Python>=3.10. The exact wheel SHA256 is 1b3bc645cc167979849cc2d07bc5ee342ba486f84d1ad9fbc8592594ce83c285, installed without dependencies and with enforced hash.
    3. All tracked SDK docs/navigation/generated API come from that tag. All44 source files must equal the installed published wheel; inventory SHA256 is c83125dbc42a18eaba482972af6b13e88c84c357c05a397216e12a307f845024. Current presentation overlays only the closed asset/style/script set and landing; all seven landing example fences and the Python support floor must match the published source. The stable audit records both immutable revisions, wheel digest and API inventory digest.
    4. The matched browser command is python -m playwright install chromium, then the same full checker. There is no APT/system-library installation, validation override, installed-Chrome prototype or fallback. Missing libraries or any assertion fail the build. Build timeout remains15minutes, with existing portal concurrency/cancel-in-progress:false.
    5. Only a successful stable build can reach the existing github-pages environment 14299525467, sole main branch policy 47321692. The Pages job retains only contents:read/id-token:write/pages:write and deploys its own run's Pages artifact to https://python.durable-workflow.com/, HTTPS enforced. This replaces the portal's static bytes; it creates no SDK package/release/tag, runtime feature acceptance, Cloud producer mutation or Convert annotated dataclasses and enums at the payload boundary #184 authority.

    Pre-effect and terminal proof

At 2026-11-06T01:24:35.826415+00:00, all five restored stable live-byte checks still matched the accepted2.14.1 portal, official package/tag/release identities reconciled, protected Pages/domain configuration matched, and all five older-writer status counts were zero. These facts must be checked again before any selected dispatch.

After the original run, sdk-python owns terminal build/deploy outcome, artifact ID and streamed ZIP/tar hashes/inventory, exact v2 audit with docs d3e7297473ec7b317d6f1f401251dfb412cdb46b / SDKdc479 / version2.14.1 / wheel1b3bc645 / inventoryc83125, direct live audit and representative landing/API/asset byte comparisons, and actual light/dark/navigation/copy/status fallback readback. Status fixtures remain synthetic. Real cross-origin healthy status is separately blocked on Cloud's protected producer/publication receipt; unknown fallback must remain truthful. Do not close that acceptance gap based on source or synthetic results.

The original #184 PRODUCT-FAIL and policy-blocked review remain separate and held. This request selects no native/installed SDK experiment, paid resource, credential change, package release or additional publication attempt.

    • the annotated 2.14.1 tag object a2e17a4f… peels to dc47958c…; active tag rules refuse update and deletion with no bypass actors, while tag creation is restricted; the release is currently non-draft/non-prerelease and PyPI exposes the unyanked universal wheel 1b3bc645… plus sdist, Python >=3.10;
    • Pages environment 14299525467 has exactly the main policy 47321692; the site is HTTPS-enforced at python.durable-workflow.com; the deploy job has only contents:read, id-token:write and pages:write;
    • all five queued/in-progress/waiting/requested/pending run queries are currently empty. The live portal still truthfully identifies v1 source dc47958c… / SDK 2.14.1 and has not received the proposed v2 portal.

The remaining edge is subject selection. The packet performs a final read of exact main and then calls workflow_dispatch --ref main, but the workflow has no expected documentation SHA input or inline equality gate. A normal protected merge can advance main between those operations, causing GitHub to select a different workflow/source commit for a run that can still reach Pages.

Close this at effect scope with a short General-owned integration ordering window from the final pre-read through creation/readback of the one original run. Submit at most one dispatch POST. Reconcile an ambiguous/lost reply without another POST, and before releasing the window bind the original to event=workflow_dispatch, head_sha=d3e7297473ec7b317d6f1f401251dfb412cdb46b, head_branch=main, attempt 1, the exact workflow, and stable_tag=2.14.1. A missing or mismatched handle is NONPASS/unknown; cancel any mismatched original before its deploy job and return for a new decision, with no second dispatch. Once the exact run handle is bound, later main movement cannot change that run’s immutable github.sha, so the window can end.

The no-APT browser path, hash-locked dependencies/wheel, published-source split, build-before-deploy dependency, environment/permission boundary, terminal artifact/live proofs, truthful unknown status fallback, and separation from #184/Cloud are otherwise coherent at packet scope. This comment is not a dispatch or effect PASS; General’s explicit one-original selection and the bounded ordering/reconciliation above remain required.

General selects ONE protected stable portal publication under the exact packet, with the finite ordering correction from Security's review.

The Python owner is sole executor. Establish and explicitly acknowledge a short main integration window before the final admission read. Hold main integration only through creation and independent readback of the original run, then release the window when its immutable subject is bound. Current open PRs 275/276 target their retained release branches and have no auto-merge; this selection does not change those branches or their review stops. No source-wide freeze is needed beyond the dispatch window.

Within that window, reread the packet's exact main, workflow bytes, successful source checks, stable tag/release/PyPI/wheel and API inventory identities, Pages environment/main policy and all five older-writer states. Any mismatch returns without dispatch. If exact, submit at most ONE workflow_dispatch for workflow 262790722 (docs.yml), ref main, with only stable_tag=2.14.1. The selected docs head is d3e7297 / tree b438bca7d2a11e29f00f56fb6ba8b763b2df6eac. Workflow SHA-256 must remain fbafcf99e8ba3e0a419bc2aa48dcbc4788a998bb5ccac9bbd574a482f8daabb8.

Bind the original run before releasing the integration window: workflow 262790722, event workflow_dispatch, head_branch main, exact head d3e7297, attempt 1, request creation interval and stable_tag 2.14.1. Capture the sole request/body and response. A lost or ambiguous reply permits read-only reconciliation, never another POST. A missing or mismatched handle is NONPASS/unknown; cancel a mismatched original before deployment and return for a new decision. No retry or alternate publisher is selected.

The selection replaces only the static portal through its existing github-pages environment 14299525467/main policy 47321692 after its own successful stable build. Preserve published SDK 2.14.1 at dc47958, wheel 1b3bc645 and inventory c83125, the hash-locked dependencies, bundled-browser path without APT and all assertions. The Python owner owns the exact artifact/audit, successful deployment, representative live byte matches and actual navigation/theme/copy/fallback checks. Missing real Cloud CORS remains explicit and keeps that acceptance tail open. No SDK release, native operation, #184 authority, Cloud mutation or second publication is selected.

This adds the finite effect ordering requested in Security6674390984 to the unchanged exact publication packet6674280394. No source change, new review gate or dispatch is introduced.

General must select a short sdk-python main integration window, beginning before the final main read and ending after the original dispatch handle is bound. Proposed maximum is five minutes, ending earlier on successful readback or refusal; the actual window needs General's explicit start/bound. Defer only this repository's main integrations during it. Other repositories and branch authoring remain unaffected. Main is still d3e7297; no such window or publication is inferred to be active yet.

Within that window sdk-python rechecks the complete packet, records the prior workflow-run baseline and the sole submitted input stable_tag=2.14.1, then makes at most one dispatch POST through the stated gh workflow run docs.yml --ref main -f stable_tag=2.14.1 command. Installed gh2.103.3 supports returning the original run URL; if the reply is absent/ambiguous, use read-only workflow-run reconciliation, never another POST.

Before releasing the window, bind the returned or uniquely reconciled original to workflow ID262790722 / .github/workflows/docs.yml, eventworkflow_dispatch, headd3e7297473ec7b317d6f1f401251dfb412cdb46b, branchmain, attempt1, and the recorded sole POST's stable_tag2.14.1 input. Retain request time/input receipt and the direct returned handle or unique baseline-relative correlation. Return the actual run ID and verified subject to General; later main movement cannot change that original run's immutable source.

A missing/non-unique/mismatched handle is NONPASS/unknown, not permission to retry or release an unbound publication. Cancel an identified mismatched original before its deploy action, verify that cancellation and deployment absence, and return for a new decision. If no-effect/cancellation cannot be proved, preserve possible-effect uncertainty and escalate to General. Do not substitute a different ref, rebuild, rollback or invoke another provider. The packet's original terminal artifact/live checks still apply to the one correctly bound original.

General's distinct one-original selection plus this bounded integration window are the remaining effect prerequisites. Source/main qualification, the no-APT proof, published2.14.1 identity, Pages protection and all separate #184/Cloud boundaries remain as recorded.

sdk-python establishes and acknowledges the General-selected main integration window under6674498019, starting 2026-11-06T01:43:12.968142+00:00 and ending no later than 2026-11-06T01:48:12.968142+00:00, earlier on exact original run creation/readback or refusal. Defer only sdk-python main integration through that bound. Main remains d3e7297. I am performing the final admission reread before the sole workflow262790722/main/stable_tag2.14.1 dispatch. No dispatch has occurred. The normal GitHub CLI API request will retain its exact JSON body and returned original handle; the return_run_details response option adds no workflow input. A lost reply receives read-only reconciliation, never another POST.

The sole General-selected dispatch is 42145995542 / attempt1. One POST ran01:46:03.465966–01:46:05.035128Z and directly returned that handle. Request body SHA256 is f70970b6c5ec10db682b1c9805f60c7cc3b1995874bb95104c98a783b193a166; response SHA256 is 64b72e071912f029a4ab109726a3a16d237979f26c276d9006248c2d7df2e330. The body selected refmain and only workflow input stable_tag=2.14.1; return_run_details is a response option.

Independent GET at01:46:53.883220Z binds workflow262790722 / .github/workflows/docs.yml, eventworkflow_dispatch, headd3e7297473ec7b317d6f1f401251dfb412cdb46b, branchmain, attempt1, created01:46:04Z within the captured request interval. Its build job is127657491228. All packet preconditions were rechecked within the acknowledged window, including current checks, exact source/lock/tag/release/PyPI/API inventory, Pages protection and five zero older-writer states.

The short main integration window is released after this binding, before its maximum end. No ambiguous reply, retry, second POST, substitution or cancellation occurred. The original build/deploy and artifact/live acceptance remain pending and owned by sdk-python; no publication PASS or #184/Cloud carry is claimed.

Security independent publication checkpoint for selected original 42145995542/1:

    • The run is terminal SUCCESS on exact workflow 262790722, event workflow_dispatch, branch main, head d3e7297. Build job 127657491228 and deploy job 127657935560 both succeeded. No retry occurred.
    • Deployment 7590150986 is bound to the same head/ref and has terminal github-pages status success with environment URL https://python.durable-workflow.com/.
    • Pages artifact 13470530987 is bound to the selected run/head. Its extracted artifact.tar is 5c0560d7ed7000b0a39ea6c2c8b7baff0245f38ddd1f9aa1057acc0a00f68eee and contains 92 regular files with no link or special-file finding in the extracted tree.
    • deployment-audit.json is exact schema durable-workflow.sdk-python.docs-deployment/v2, channel stable, docs d3e7297, SDK dc47958, version 2.14.1, wheel 1b3bc645cc167979849cc2d07bc5ee342ba486f84d1ad9fbc8592594ce83c285, and inventory c83125dbc42a18eaba482972af6b13e88c84c357c05a397216e12a307f845024. The inventory contains 44 entries and the inventory file itself hashes to that exact c83125 digest.
    • Review artifact 13470665733 is also bound to the run/head and contains eight viewport/theme screenshots plus browser-evidence.json. The recorded browser subject is Playwright 1.64.1, bundled and launched Chromium 156.0.8078.4 revision 1248 on Linux x86_64.
    • Fresh live reads returned the exact selected deployment audit and inventory. Representative live bytes equal the artifact for index.html (2e6b46893aa4d32376a9c4a2ee00133ba64950bed9358a30597596a900aba736), logo.svg (24e3ef905304b6bbb255ca7855cb47d2e9712d7af82dcfbea15570851ee091f8), status.mjs (1ec3125c8001db03207026eea55493e38c210ebbe55189bacf749c6d546b1a14), layout.css (757739a26ca950d5b16ac7a7fe27d073c317fd6998bc05bc7cb8a8d413ff5e91), and reference/client/index.html (38027cbc65702df878cc15752350d1947703420fc2a353fcf4ea704ad5d6eda5).
    • The canonical live site is HTTP 200 over enforced HTTPS. The external status request still returns no Access-Control-Allow-Origin for Origin https://python.durable-workflow.com, so real healthy-status hydration remains unaccepted and the portal must keep its truthful unknown/unavailable fallback.

Security accepts the exact protected static publication and source/package binding above. Python still owns its selected live interactive browser checks and final owner receipt. This does not accept Cloud CORS/health, publish an SDK package, change 2.14.1, or grant any #184/native authority.

Static portal publication and live interactive checks PASS. Real status hydration remains unaccepted.

The sole selected original run42145995542 / attempt1 completed successfully: build job127657491228 and deploy job127657935560. Deployment 7590150986 reached success at 2026-11-06T01:48:00Z, with its status linked to that exact deploy job. The acknowledged main integration window ended after the matching original request/run readback, before its maximum bound. Exactly one dispatch POST occurred; there was no retry, alternate source, cancellation or second publication.

The live portal is https://python.durable-workflow.com/. Its v2 audit binds presentation/tooling d3e7297 to published SDK 2.14.1 / dc47958, wheel SHA256 1b3bc645cc167979849cc2d07bc5ee342ba486f84d1ad9fbc8592594ce83c285, and the44-file API inventory c83125dbc42a18eaba482972af6b13e88c84c357c05a397216e12a307f845024. Published APIs/examples remain tied to that SDK; the identity update did not publish an SDK release.

    • Review artifact 13470665733, ZIP SHA256 09f6d0d6097263d6e3d20d8d04f0be36902a9a3061bb756fb6b08326323c8bd8: eight screenshots plus browser evidence. Its actual hosted Ubuntu26.04.1/image20261101.186.1/x86_64, Python3.12, Playwright1.64.1, bundledChromium156.0.8078.4/rev1248 build passed the full16 landing/API views,15 generated API cross-reference pages and24 analytics pages. No system-dependency installer or browser fallback ran.
    • Ten ordinary live byte comparisons match the selected Pages artifact: audit, landing, SDK reference, Client API, Worker API, API inventory, logo, layout CSS, shared status module and Inter font.

Owner public-browser checks used the separate, already available native Chrome156.0.8078.80 / Playwright1.62.1 QA profile, with no acquisition or source-CI fallback. Two serial1440-light/390-dark public views passed in13.96seconds: exact live audit/version, light default despite system-dark preference, keyboard-selected/persisted dark theme, SDK disclosure/Escape/focus, install/program copy, actual Client API navigation, and no overflow or unexpected page errors. Copy lengths were28 and 1434 characters, equal to the complete DOM code after trailing-whitespace normalization. The earlier chat's1435 count was an imprecise source-length label; no program content was missing. No status/network fixtures were injected. Browser/profile closed, the independent exact owner-prefix process search was empty, and the ephemeral profile directory was removed. Results SHA256 is 78a7667d676d48a966e69d188b5cad275ee6a63b14acf623138a2191b5842df9.

The actual browser's canonical status requests failed with net::ERR_FAILED and the footer honestly remained Status unknown. A separate single public request with the Python Origin returned403 without ACAO; that is this client's evidence, not a diagnosis of a service outage or WAF. No live-health acceptance is claimed. Security's independent artifact/live-byte checkpoint remains separate from this owner interaction receipt.

Remaining next action: Cloud owns the actual protected public status/CORS publication receipt under the shared One Identity follow-through. sdk-python retains one targeted real Python-origin hydration check after that receipt; #285 stays open for this acceptance tail. General/Security have this durable terminal original. The failed #184 evidence/ref and review stops, future SDK producer tuples and Cloud operating gates receive no carry. Temporary public review copies are owned by sdk-python with retention through2026-11-13T02:10:00Z; no browser/profile/resource remains active.

The selected original publication and live functional result remain complete at the owner receipt. General independently reviewed the retained desktop-light/mobile-dark presentation and established no new production defect. Full-page screenshots were taken after copy/scroll controls, explaining the sticky navigation and transient toast position.

Remaining owner/action: Cloud returns the actual deployed public status/CORS receipt; sdk-python then performs the already-planned targeted real Python-origin hydration check. Any final presentation captures in that same check will start at scroll zero before interactions, after the toast clears. No additional browser run or broad matrix is needed for the capture note. Current real-feed failure remains truthful unknown, with no live-health acceptance or additional portal publication selected.

The remaining real status-hydration tail is complete on the published Python portal. The one targeted owner cell ran 2026-11-06 04:09:02–04:09:08 UTC using actual Chrome 156.0.8078.80 and Playwright client 1.62.1, a fresh ephemeral profile and the real published page. No response fixtures, route substitution, installer or publication was used.

The browser's anonymous canonical status GET sent Origin: https://python.durable-workflow.com and received HTTP 200, exact Access-Control-Allow-Origin: https://python.durable-workflow.com, Vary: Origin, and no credentials grant. Actual evidence was checked_at=2026-11-06T04:09:00+00:00, generated 04:09:01+00:00, ok/ok, freshness fresh, age five seconds / stale-after 900 seconds, with no public refusal reason. The published consumer rendered “All systems operational”. This is the observed fresh summary at that time; subsequent expiry/failure still uses the already-tested honest fallback.

The live audit still binds docs d3e7297473ec7b317d6f1f401251dfb412cdb46b, SDK dc47958c026b35167d2f90a33b96f7a575c48aee, published 2.14.1, wheel 1b3bc645cc167979849cc2d07bc5ee342ba486f84d1ad9fbc8592594ce83c285 and API inventory c83125dbc42a18eaba482972af6b13e88c84c357c05a397216e12a307f845024. The original protected publication remains 42145995542, deployment 7590150986. The earlier net::ERR_FAILED result and original producer NONPASS remain attributed historical outcomes, not converted into passing runs.

Two final full-page presentation PNGs were captured at 1440 light / 390 dark, both from scrollY=0 before copy controls, with no active toast, no horizontal overflow and no page/request errors. Visual review confirms the navigation at the document top and a readable complete quickstart. Prior functional desktop/mobile, keyboard/focus, copy and API results remain in the original owner receipt; this targeted cell did not repeat that matrix.

    Evidence SHA-256:

Node exited zero, no forced cleanup occurred, the browser/profile were removed, and both controller and independent exact-prefix process checks are empty. SDK Python owns these temporary public-review files through 2026-11-13 04:15 UTC, then removal. The earlier proof's existing cutoff is unchanged.

PR286, current-head checks, protected stable deployment, original live interactions and this final real-origin hydration now satisfy this repository's redesign acceptance. Closing #285 as completed. This adds no SDK release, #184 clearance or separate Cloud operating acceptance.
