The first suggestion I added extends to use the global renovate config I recently added to the organization to manage these in one place, not needing the parts I've suggested to remove from this file.

I've made the same adjustments to the renovate configurations you contributed previously, for example devfile/api#1803.

Once these revisions are made I will approve, the rest lgtm for library.
