Problem
The updater only exposes an all-bundles dispatch. Delivering merged repairs from the portfolio-owned agent-skills repository therefore requires refreshing unrelated third-party bundles, while the bundled-edit gate correctly rejects direct author updates.
Proposal
Add an explicit agentic-engineering-only dispatch scope while preserving the existing scheduled and all-bundle behavior. Keep the programmed updater identity and bundled-edit gate intact.
Acceptance criteria
Exercise the existing default and opt-in scoped paths, reject unsupported scopes before updating, and publish actual merged portfolio skill repairs through the programmed updater PRs. Size: S.

Completed by merged PR #486 (merge commit daca399). The scoped agentic-engineering dispatch, unsupported-scope refusal, programmed updater identity, default scheduled/all behavior, offline resolver controls, workflow validation and required CI all passed at the exact merged head.

The scoped dispatch has produced genuine programmed update PRs #489, #490 and #491. Its acceptance criterion also requires publishing the merged repairs; their exact-head review and merge remain pending. Reopening until that live bundle delivery is verified.

Acceptance is now delivered end to end. PR #486 merged the targeted synchronization path. The genuine programmed outputs are all merged: self-improvement #489, agent-improvement #490, and product-engineering #491.
Agent Skills
v1.21.24was published from the merged upstream source, including the adjacent helper tests and the fail-closed retained-read repair. The final generated bundles point to that tag; plugin versions advance sequentially through 6.1.4 and 6.1.5; manifest parity and desired-state digests validate; both final updater heads passed 44 hosted checks; and installed-copy evaluations cover the flow, proof, brief-check, and brief-render paths, including malformed bytes plus empty and partial retained-read failures.Current Agent Plugins

Acceptance is now delivered: the scoped main dispatch produced genuine programmed updates #489, #490 and #491, and all three are merged. Each received exact-head CI, substantive review and actual installed-user-path checks. The final product-engineering merge at 0e23220 was read back against its complete reviewed tree; agent-improvement and self-improvement were likewise verified on main. Version 6.1.5 contains the merged owned repairs, including refusal of failed retained reads and the required packaged helper tests.
The default scheduled/all-bundle behavior and unsupported-scope refusal remain covered by the resolver controls delivered in #486. No third-party skill bundle was refreshed, no installed skill was hand-edited, and the programmed updater identity and bundled-edit gate remain intact.
