Approved commits can now be copied or sent to a selected developer through Remotes. The send flow includes recipient search, confirmation, and navigation to the recipient’s conversation. Candidate search returns request-specific sharing reasons.
The candidate endpoint accepts for=share. For sharing, incoming and outgoing requests receive explanatory reasons; other candidate behavior remains unchanged.
Picker searches can use the share scope and configurable title, placeholder, and close-autofocus callback. QuotedCommit accepts a configurable screen-reader label.
Commit confirmation and sending resources/js/components/commit-secondary-actions.tsx, tests/Unit/CommitShareActions.test.tsx, tests/draft-images.config.ts, tests/tsconfig.json, KNOWLEDGE_BASE.md
Approved commits can be sent to a selected developer after confirmation. The flow sends the commit permalink and opens the recipient’s conversation. Link copying remains available. Tests cover eligibility, confirmation, cancellation, copying, shortcuts, and absolute URLs. The Remotes documentation describes the flow.

Merge Risk: Low · up to 64c7f
Commit sharing can proceed, but its new regression tests will not run in the normal unit-test workflow until the test file is renamed and its configuration references are updated.
Security architecture risk: Low · up to 64c7f
Sharing adds a new message-sending flow while retaining server-side recipient permissions and commit visibility checks. No new authorization bypass was established. Delivery failures and concurrent actions still depend on the existing messaging behavior.
Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.
Security review details
Security Blast Radius
observed — Each action targets one developer using the sender's existing messaging authority. When requests are enabled, an initial share may create a fetched request for a recipient who does not accept the sender directly; subsequent sending remains constrained by the existing request-state rules.
Security Findings and Attack Paths
inferred — Bypassing the picker or supplying a stale recipient does not by itself bypass delivery authorization. The server checks eligibility independently, and a forged or stale permalink remains subject to commit visibility when opened. The base-to-head comparison did not establish a newly introduced authorization bypass.
Trust Boundaries and Controls
observed — The picker is advisory rather than authoritative. Before conversation and message creation, the authenticated delivery request checks canMessage and permits only PushAccess::Open; incoming requests, waiting requests, restricted recipients, and closed Remotes are denied at that check.
Resilience and Maintainability Implications
observed — Existing persistence uses transactional conversation creation and a separate message transaction. Message creation deduplicates the same sender/client-ID pair and schedules notifications and link unfurling after commit. Authorization is outside these transactions, so the source does not establish atomic eligibility checking through persistence.

Explanation
The title "feat: share commits in remotes" matches the main change. The PR adds a Share menu on approved commits with a "Send in Remotes" option. The option lets a user pick a developer, confirm, and send the commit link to that developer. The backend also gains a for=share candidate mode, and the frontend and tests cover the flow. The title names the primary feature and does not describe any unrelated change.

Rename the test to .ts before including it in the Node test command.
package.json runs Node with --experimental-strip-types and selects only tests/Unit/*.test.ts, so this test is skipped. Adding a .tsx glob would not fix the command. Node v24.22.1 rejects this file with ERR_UNKNOWN_FILE_EXTENSION. The test contains no JSX, so rename it to .ts and update both include lists. The existing .test.ts glob will then execute it.
