I couldn't find a way to select no tools without setting --local true. I might not want any of these tools despite creating a non-local library though.
The addition of --tools is a breaking change as it is required and has no default value. It would be helpful if this could be called out in the release notes or through semantic versioning.
Hey @Johennes, I'm working on a refactor that will allow specifying --tools= without any values to say that you don't want to configure any tools.
The --tools eslint jest format is an artifact of the yargs library - but after the refactor yargs is no longer used, so it won't treat positionals as the value of the argument, but require --tools eslint --tools jest to specify multiple tools.
As the CLI is still 0.x, breaking changes can still happen due to semver, but I'll try to document CLI related changes in the changelog.
