Binacle Labs builds Binacle.Net, a free and open source 3D bin packing API you host yourself. It answers which box an order goes in, in milliseconds. Built for checkout, parcel lockers and shipping.
Give it your box sizes and a list of items and it returns the smallest box that holds them, and where every item sits.
It works one box at a time - it does not split an order across several boxes, and it does not price a carrier.

- Questions and ideas go to Discussions, not to the issue tracker.
- Pull requests are closed for now. Issues, bug reports and documentation corrections are welcome, and they are most of what anyone sends anyway. CONTRIBUTING.md says why and what to send instead.
- Security - never a public issue. Every repository takes a private report through its own Security tab; for Binacle.Net that is here, and SECURITY.md holds the policy and the commands that verify a published image.
- Licensing - the code is AGPL-3.0, documentation and other content CC BY 4.0. The data formats are Apache-2.0 and the samples are MIT. NOTICE has the full map.
