A third choice for First screen on the Display page: a cartoon corgi in a GT3 whose drawing follows the delta to the reference lap.

  • Not on track: asleep. Stopped on track: awake and waiting. No reference lap yet: casual cruise.
  • With a delta: one drawing per tenth of a second, from the slow creep at four tenths down to warp speed at half a second up, level being the brisk cruise.
  • A drawing stays up until the delta is clearly into the next one, so it does not flick between two on a boundary.
  • While a finished lap is held on screen, the corgi shows how that lap ended.
  • The delta, lap time and predicted time sit in a band along the top. The delta colour settings still apply.

The twelve drawings are in Assets/corgi as 720x480 WebP, about 0.8 MB in all, drawn at that size so the device never scales them. The First screen and Delta colour buttons use tighter lettering so three and four options fit side by side.

Bumps lap-timer to 0.16.0, so merging this publishes it to the catalog.

Checked

  • Tests and typecheck pass. bun run check runs up to the zip step, which Windows does not have; CI runs it in full.
  • Looked at in the built app at 800x480 with demo laps: every state, the lap hold, and the gradient delta colour.
  • The Car Thing's browser loads and decodes all twelve drawings. Not yet watched on the device's own screen with the look switched on.

A third look for the first screen: a cartoon corgi in a GT3 whose drawing
follows the delta. Asleep when not on track, waiting when stopped, and one
drawing quicker or slower per tenth of a second against the reference lap,
with a hold so a delta on a boundary does not flick between two.

The twelve drawings are in Assets/corgi at 720x480, the size they are drawn.
