im not sure, thats an issue with github that we cannot help with, there was another issue open that users have commented on as recently as today. try again from a fresh browser cache, different computer, or other common work arounds.
permissions wise, nothing has changed on our end and we value your feedback
i went through the repo configurations on our side and everything is as expected, nothing there that would affect commenting.
one thing i did not mention earlier, if the comment is long, github caps comment bodies at 65,536 characters and fails with that exact popup, so it is worth trimming it down or dropping the content in a gist.
otherwise, past the workarounds above, this is really one for https://support.github.com/, they can see things on their end that we have no visibility into. there is not much more we can do from here, so i am going to resolve this one.
This issue is now closed. Comments on closed issues are hard for our team to see.
If you need more assistance, please open a new issue that references this one.
