Add ergonomic descriptor layouts/pools, swapchain image/view ownership, pipeline caches, format selection, timestamps, debug labels, and external-resource capability queries. Resource lifetime and synchronization remain explicit, with raw Vulkan available when needed.
Add runnable headless and resize/presentation examples, explain constants and API-specific values, provide parameter/lifetime tables, and preserve installed module pins during setup.
Validation: all six ergonomic test files passed; convenience, lifecycle, and resize/presentation examples passed on Linux/NVIDIA with Vulkan validation; strict V3 frontend checks passed; mocked setup checks preserve existing versions. CI adds presentation and documentation checks. Generated bindings are unchanged.
