Name derivation: Lepse (from lapse), is a play on words because lepse would help you to prevent yourself from lapsing (somewhat)
Note
I would gladly take any feedback or contributions/contributors (u can find my discord on my GitHub profile)
Lepse is an aesthetic clock + simple productivity tool to help u focus. Have a simple clock for when you are AFK or on an unused monitor, a pomo/stopwatch for when you're in a work/study session.
Lepse's aim is to make being productive simpler and more enjoyable/comfortable. I've tried other tools/apps and it was a tremendous amount of work to setup/use, hence why I started Lepse. (and also I always found myself having an AFK clock, shout-out relaxingclock.com)
The base of the app is pretty simple, you create tasks, and when u run pomos/stopwatches, you can select a task, and the time spend on the task will be tracked for u to see. You could optionally conect tasks to a bigger goal (something big, like a project, goal in life, etc). highly recommended so that you would constantly know exactly what you are doing.
- Goals - goals, not associated with time, so things like projects, hobbies, etc (tasks are for deadlines and work sessions).
- Tasks - any task, or optionally connected to a goal (u could think of it as goals broken down into tasks).
- Habits - habits that can recur daily or only on certain days. (archived for now)
- Day lifecycle - a day is a day, for score counting and journal mapping. (archived for now)
- Focus screen - AFK screen (clock), or pomo/stopwatch for work sessions, which can connect to a specific task to track time on said task.
- Journal & Scribbles - journals ares for daily reflection, scribbles are for random notes not connected to a specific day. (archived for now)
- Calendar - week/month overview of your days (tasks, mood, score, habits). (archived for now)
- Notifications - reminders for start of day, end of day, habit reminders, and pomo cycles. (archived for now, except the pomo updates prolly)
- Desktop app - desktop app via Tauri (a single dev cannot do native apps) (not me at least).
Note
v0.1 will ship stable
- The clock: relaxingclock.com
- Fancy naming conventions: modrinth (I actually figured out later I accidentally used the same ones as them, hence the rename)
Tip
Zero AI slop! (Sad to have to even say this), so actually think before throwing assumptions/accusations
