🚨 Severity: HIGH
πŸ’‘ Vulnerability: Type Confusion (CWE-843) where bool types bypassed numeric bounds checks since bool inherits from int in Python, allowing True/False to evaluate as 0.0.0.1 and 0.0.0.0.
🎯 Impact: An attacker could bypass integer bounds and range limitations (which expect IP representations) resulting in scanning arbitrary loops or local 0 network endpoints if boolean values are evaluated instead of expected integer logic.
πŸ”§ Fix: Explicitly reject bool types before integer bound validation logic to securely stop type confusion logic bypass.
βœ… Verification: A test (test_main_block_type_confusion_bool) was added simulating this boolean-injection vector, and the execution is confirmed to block it and emit the intended TypeError cleanly without triggering downstream network requests or failing validation checks unexpectedly.
