the "unreleased" section of the changelog needs some work to see what we will keep and what we will discard.
tox runs on windows have surfaced an error where concurrent tests (especially async ones) fail because of overlaps.

Until now, there was no way for an async client to run async polling.
this PR introduces a new collaborator: the AsyncPollingConnector. It's the
class that the client will rely on to do polling using
asyncio.It is largely based off the existing
PollingConnectorStack created with GitHub Stacks CLI • Give Feedback 💬
