I'm an independent systems engineer, builder, and open-source contributor based in the US Mountain West. At heart, I'm a hands-on developer who loves nothing more than digging into complex codebases, untangling tricky architectural issues, and shipping reliable code that just works.
- Why I build: Software isn't just an abstract intellectual exercise for me—it's craft, discipline, and my way of providing for my kids. Every commit I push is guided by pride in workmanship, respect for maintainers' time, and the conviction that quality code speaks for itself.
- My philosophy: Zero hype, zero unnecessary complexity. I believe in minimal diffs, hermetic test reproduction, and strict contract fidelity. If a bug exists, reproduce it in isolation first. If a system works, make it observable and maintainable.
