Team Arcadia builds and runs Arcadia: Echoes Of Power, a modded Minecraft community based in France. Everything the server needs is made here: the modpack players install, the mods that run on the game servers, the patched forks that keep third-party mods stable, the website and its plugins, and the Discord bot.
This organization is the single home for all of it. This page explains how the repositories are named, what each one does, and where to start depending on who you are.
| Modpack | NeoForge 1.21.1, 440+ mods, 3000+ quests in 31 chapters, translated into 7 languages |
| Servers | 5 official servers, 40 to 80 players each, record of 88 players online at once |
| Signature content | Cross-mod progression through custom bridge items (Arcane Circuit, Ethereal Alloy, Industrial Heart, Rune Matrix), relic armor and weapons, 20 original music discs |
| Website | Azuriom CMS with a custom theme and around forty in-house plugins: wiki, shop, votes, support, roadmap, creators space |

- Players install the modpack and connect to the game servers.
- Game servers run the Arcadia mods (gameplay, administration, performance) and our fixed builds of third-party mods.
- The website handles accounts, the shop, votes, the wiki and support. It talks to the game servers through AzLink (rewards, in-game announcements, teleports) and to Discord through webhooks.
- Discord is where the community lives, with Arcadius, our AI-assisted bot, answering questions.
Every repository name tells you what family it belongs to before you even open it. The pattern is always:
<family-prefix>-<name>
| Prefix | Family | What goes there | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
arcadia- |
Arcadia projects | Mods and content built for the Arcadia server and modpack. They may depend on each other and are not meant to be used elsewhere. | arcadia-games |
mods-mc- |
Standalone Minecraft mods | Generic mods that work on any server or modpack, published for everyone (CurseForge). No dependency on Arcadia. | mods-mc-rspolymorph |
fork-mc- |
Maintained forks | Third-party mods we patch to fix crashes or incompatibilities in our pack. The name after the prefix is the upstream mod. | fork-mc-ecologics |
azuriom- |
Website | Plugins and the theme of our Azuriom website. Themes use azuriom-theme-<name>. |
azuriom-<plugin-id> |
discord-bot- |
Discord bots | Bots running on the community Discord. | discord-bot-arcadius |
.github |
Organization | This profile page and the default community files of the organization. | .github |
Rules
- Lowercase only, words separated by hyphens. No spaces, no underscores, no capitals.
- The prefix is mandatory. A repository without a family prefix is a repository nobody can find.
- The name says what the project is. For a mod, the part after the prefix is the mod's name (
arcadia-guardis ArcadiaGuard); for a fork, it is the upstream project name; for an Azuriom plugin, it is the plugin's name. - Description in English, one sentence, saying what the project does and for which platform.
- Topics always include
team-arcadia, plus the platform (neoforge,azuriom-plugin,minecraft-1-21-1...).
Which prefix for a new project?

Minecraft mods (arcadia-, mods-mc-, fork-mc-)
Requirements: JDK 21, Git. Gradle is provided by the wrapper in each repository.
git clone https://github.com/Team-Arcadia/<repository>.git
cd <repository>
./gradlew build # the jar lands in build/libs/Check the README for dependencies on other Arcadia mods and build them first. Forks are built from their Arcadia branch (see Branches).
Website plugins (azuriom-)
Requirements: a local Azuriom 1.1 or 1.2 install (PHP 8.1+, MySQL or MariaDB).
cd <azuriom>/plugins
git clone https://github.com/Team-Arcadia/azuriom-<name>.git <plugin-id>Then enable the plugin in Admin panel > Plugins and run the migrations if asked. The folder name must be the id
written in the plugin's plugin.json. The theme goes into <azuriom>/resources/themes/ the same way.
Discord bot (discord-bot-arcadius)
Requirements: Node.js 18+ and pnpm. Copy the example environment file to .env, fill in your own tokens, then
start the bot. Never commit a .env file.
| Platform | Version used by Arcadia |
|---|---|
| Minecraft | 1.21.1 |
| NeoForge | 21.1.x (modpack: 21.1.250 or newer) |
| Java | 21 |
| Azuriom | 1.1.x and 1.2.x, depending on the plugin |
| Node.js | 18 or newer (Discord bot) |
mods-mc-rspolymorph also ships a Fabric build. Every repository states its exact requirements in its README.
| Branch | Where | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
main |
Most repositories | Stable, releasable code. Default branch for new repositories. |
master |
Some older mods | Same role as main, kept to avoid breaking existing links. |
Arcadia-fix |
Forks | Our patches on top of the upstream code. The jar uses the arcadia-fix classifier. |
feat/..., fix/... |
Everywhere | Short-lived work branches, merged through a pull request and deleted. |
- Open or pick an issue describing the bug or the feature, so the work is discussed before it is written.
- Create a branch from the default branch with a prefix:
feat/,fix/,docs/,refactor/,perf/,chore/,test/,ci/. - Commit with the format
type: descriptive message, in English:feat: add weekly leaderboard reset fix: prevent duplicate rewards on reconnect - Open a pull request to the default branch, explain what changed and how you tested it.
- Wait for a review from a maintainer before merging.
House rules
- Code, identifiers, comments, logs and commit messages are written in English.
- Documentation (README, CHANGELOG) is bilingual: English first, then French.
- Never commit secrets: tokens, API keys, passwords,
.envfiles, server addresses. - Never change a version number outside of a release.
- Significant changes go into the project's
CHANGELOG.md.
Please do not open a public issue for a security problem. Report it privately through the Security tab of the affected repository (Report a vulnerability), or contact an administrator in private on Discord.

mods, the upstream license for forks. Always check the
repository you use. Azuriom itself is distributed under the MIT license.

<préfixe-de-famille>-<nom>
| Préfixe | Famille | Ce qu'on y trouve | Exemple |
|---|---|---|---|
arcadia- |
- Topics : toujours
team-arcadia, plus la plateforme (neoforge,azuriom-plugin,minecraft-1-21-1...).
Quel préfixe pour un nouveau projet ?
