TarekM-7/README.md

Hey there! 👋

I'm Tarek, a Software Developer based in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

I work at IEMSA, a metal stamping company, where I build software to digitalize the plant. I come from a data analysis background, so I like working where data and software meet: turning what happens on the shop floor into information people can act on.

🚀 Featured Projects

Project What it is Built with
Product Manager · live demo Full-stack CRUD app. React client on Vercel, and a REST API on Render with Swagger docs and 20 integration tests React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Jest
AxleCore ERP Local ERP that simulates the full manufacturing cycle of an automotive stamping company, the same industry I work in Odoo 17, PostgreSQL, Docker
F1 ETL Pipeline End-to-end data pipeline that analyzes Formula 1 driver performance over time Python, pandas, AWS S3, DuckDB, SQL
ForzaAutos Car dealership web app with full CRUD, inspired by Forza Horizon Node.js, Express, MongoDB, EJS
tforge CLI that scaffolds Express + Mongoose + EJS projects from the terminal Node.js

I'm also building a series of React + TypeScript projects that cover state management with useReducer, the Context API and Zustand, API calls with Axios, and runtime validation with Valibot. They're all in my repositories.

🛠️ Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, React Router, Zustand
  • Backend: Node.js, Express, REST APIs, Swagger / OpenAPI
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL, Sequelize, Mongoose
  • Data: Python, pandas, DuckDB
  • Cloud & Tools: AWS S3, Docker, Git, Jest, Vercel, Render

📌 Right Now

  • Building software to digitalize a metal stamping plant at IEMSA
  • Building full-stack apps with React, Node.js and TypeScript
  • Writing tests and documenting APIs as part of every project

🤖 How I Use AI

AI is one of the most useful tools I have, and I use it like one: to debug, to review my code, and to understand concepts faster. What I'm not a fan of is vibe coding, shipping code I can't explain or fix myself. If something goes into my projects, I want to understand why it works.

🤝 Let's Connect

I'm open to collaborating, learning and growing with other developers.

🏁 Fun Facts

  • Huge F1 fan 🏎️. It shows up in my code: F1Feed and my F1 ETL pipeline
  • I have way too many dogs 🐕
  • Gym, swimming and movies 🏊🏻
