Summary

  • add a README sponsors section for Greptile's Open Source Program
  • credit OpenAI's Codex for Open Source program
  • use Greptile's official embeddable wordmark

Weaver does not yet expose a public app/marketing shell, so this keeps the attribution in the currently visible project surface.

Validation

  • git diff --check

Greptile Summary

Adds a README Sponsors section crediting Greptile’s Open Source Program and OpenAI Codex for Open Source. Live requests confirmed that the Greptile wordmark and program page are reachable. The new OpenAI sponsor URL returned access denied for both Chrome-compatible and curl requests, so readers may be unable to reach the referenced program until the link is replaced with its public canonical destination.

Confidence Score: 4/5

The documentation update contains one externally visible broken destination that should be corrected before merging.

The failure was reproduced with live requests using two distinct user agents, while the other newly added sponsor resources were reachable.

Files Needing Attention: README.md needs attention at the OpenAI Codex for Open Source link on line 103.

What T-Rex did

  • T-Rex produced a proof for a posted P1 finding and attached sponsor-validation artifacts.
  • T-Rex published a second finding-comment-proof for another P1 finding, with no artifacts attached.
  • T-Rex performed a general contract validation showing the Sponsors README now includes a Sponsors section, with Greptile SVG returning 200 and the post-PR page also returning 200, while the OpenAI URL still returns 403 in this environment.

Comments Outside Diff (1)

  1. General comment

P1 OpenAI sponsor link returns HTTP 403

    • Bug
      • The added OpenAI sponsor link at README.md:103 (https://openai.com/form/codex-for-oss/) returned HTTP 403 on real GET requests using both a Chrome-compatible user agent and a curl user agent. This prevents users from reaching the documented sponsor destination in this validation.
    • Cause
      • The documented OpenAI form endpoint rejects the requests from this environment; no redirect or alternate public destination is configured in the README.
    • Fix
      • Verify the intended public OpenAI Codex for Open Source destination and replace the URL with an accessible canonical page, or confirm and document any required access constraints before publishing the link.
