Future changes/features (out of the scope for v1)

• Improve APIs (responses, status codes, proper authentication, etc)
• Rewrite metrics API (current endpoint is mostly just a way to access cloudwatch, not specific to our use)
• Expanded APIs - current APIs are MVP for the replication console to function
• Built in (serverless?) table data copy
  • Scan table data to mock table stream?!?
• Table consistency monitoring
  • count compare is the good enough solution for now
• Replicate table configuration changes (capacity, indexes, etc.)
• Propogate changes to notification stack parameter group to existing alarms
• Change directions (swap replica and master regions)
• Investigate using step functions for controller logic (implemented before step functions were available)
