Network Validation / Test Automation Engineer

Switch & Router Product Validation | Network Automation Portfolio Development

Portfolio · Resume · Network Automation Lab · Codex Resource Audit

My recent work at Planet Technology focused on Switch / Router product validation, including network and L2/L3 testing. My earlier software-engineering experience at BK Taiwan provides a C#, WinForms, and ATE test-automation background.

I am extending this foundation into Network Automation through Network Automation Lab, a personal portfolio project. Repeatable engineering evidence and explicit safety boundaries support this project work.

Engineering Focus

  • Network & Product Validation
  • Test Automation: C#, WinForms, and ATE
  • Network Protocol / L2-L3 Testing
  • Network Automation Portfolio Development
  • Engineering Evidence / Quality
  • Safety / AI-assisted Workflow: human review and explicit execution boundaries

Selected Projects

My flagship personal portfolio project for repeatable network validation, automated testing, and reviewer-friendly engineering evidence.

Highlights

  • Repeatable validation logic for MikroTik, Cisco, WireGuard, VRRP, and iperf3 scenarios, backed by automated regression coverage and GitHub Actions CI.
  • Structured JSON, HTML, and text evidence with reviewer-friendly summaries through a canonical Flask dashboard and a secondary Next.js interface.
  • Fail-closed behavior with mock, dry-run, and report-only boundaries; live-device access and write-capable operations remain explicitly gated.

Project technology: Python · pytest · Flask · TypeScript · Next.js · GitHub Actions

Engineering Evidence — v0.3 Release

v0.3 release evidence: 2,101 Python tests and 79 Node unit tests; typecheck, lint, build, and Safe CI PASS. These are v0.3 release results, not current repository totals.

An independent personal open-source project: an experimental Windows-first, read-only evidence tool for observing Codex-related process activity before drawing diagnostic conclusions.

Highlights

  • PowerShell-based bounded process observation with explicit human target selection and confirmation gates.
  • Structured, privacy-aware evidence designed to distinguish recorded observations from unsupported ownership, leak, or root-cause claims.
  • Automated offline regression testing, Hosted Windows CI, versioned prereleases, and first-run recovery / usability work.

Project technology: PowerShell · Pester · Windows process diagnostics · GitHub Actions · CI

Experimental and not production-ready. Independent project; not officially supported or endorsed by OpenAI.
