CU Research Computing added lots of new NVIDIA GPUs in August 2026! As part of this rollout, CURC has changed how GPUs are requested, such that a broader range of GPU instance sizes are available. For example, you can request a "full", "half", or "quarter" NVIDIA H200 GPU. During this 30-minute virtual "lunch-and-learn", you'll receive an overview of the new hardware, learn how to specify the GPU "flavor" you want, and get tips on how to find idle GPU resources on Alpine.
