• Instruments don't say how many notes they can play at once

• Turning a macro doesn't change notes that are already sounding

PyDevices/audiocomponents#166 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

• Octaver: a patch picked before playback glides its tone filter for the first 30 ms

• LowPass, BandPass and Notch thump at full scale when Frequency jumps to the bottom

PyDevices/audiocomponents#162 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

• Distortion: a move to patch 7 before the first pull stays 1-2 LSB off a fresh build at 22.05 kHz

• CircuitPython and native builds differ from desktop output on reset_buffer and odd buffer sizes

PyDevices/audiocomponents#158 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

• Exciter: a reset on 100-frame buffers leaves the output 28 frames ahead

PyDevices/audiocomponents#157 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

• Fuzz lean patch, DynamicEQ Listen and Exciter Output: documented non-bypass behaviours reported as faults

PyDevices/audiocomponents#156 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

• Detector and coupling state outlasts tail_samples after a reset or rejoin

PyDevices/audiocomponents#155 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

• Free-running LFO and hold phases never realign with an uninterrupted copy after a reset or move

PyDevices/audiocomponents#154 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

• Control jumps step the output in the older effects (clicks on quick knob moves)

PyDevices/audiocomponents#153 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 15, 2026

PyDevices/audiocomponents#152 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 14, 2026

• 36 of 45 effect classes declare no KIT_PLANTS, so the plant check proves nothing for them

• Some effects report no tail length where a finite one exists

PyDevices/audiocomponents#146 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 14, 2026

• A NaN constructor option renders neither the default nor zero; a fractional macro is re-quantised by set_macro

PyDevices/audiocomponents#145 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 14, 2026

• Two claims tests fail depending on how they are run, and some test modules need scipy and a built CircuitPython

PyDevices/audiocomponents#144 · Filter by author bdbarnett opened on Oct 14, 2026
