Summary

Replaces the mostly-historical active roadmap with the next architecture execution plan agreed after the current master deep-dive.

• makes docs/ROADMAP.md the authoritative forward plan starting at Phase 8
• archives completed Phases 0–7 and their carried-forward principles in docs/ROADMAP-HISTORY.md
• aligns docs/INDEX.md with the active-vs-historical split

• re-certify the August fresh-chat regression before assuming it recovered

• do not merge PR feat: add ChatGPT file uploads #49 with unrestricted server-local paths, post-spool-only limits, driver-global upload state, or a non-content-dependent E2E
• preserve the no-auto-resend invariant and zero-tolerance for silent wrong-turn responses
• generalize the existing MCP session pool rather than building a second pool

This PR is documentation/planning only; it intentionally makes no runtime changes.

Retarget references to archived roadmap phases

Archiving Phases 0–7 here leaves existing references pointing at the wrong document: docs/os-supervision.md still links to ROADMAP.md for Phases 3 and 4, while docs/architecture.md and CHANGELOG.md direct readers to its Phase 5 audit. Those sections no longer exist in the active roadmap, so operators following the supervision policy and maintainers looking for the extraction rationale land on unrelated Phase 8+ planning. Update these inbound references to ROADMAP-HISTORY.md or to the immutable archived commit as part of the move.

Verified follow-up for Phase 8.2: current master has 9 Ruff errors across three files (src/chatgpt_web2api/cdp_driver.py, tests/test_composer_verification.py, and tests/test_send_acknowledgment.py). PR #48 covers only the last file and also damages the explanatory module docstring, so it should not be treated as the complete green-master fix. Execute 8.2 as one human-authored lint cleanup across all three files, preserving test rationale/docstrings, then close #48 as superseded once the replacement PR exists. This does not change the roadmap sequencing or block review of this docs-only PR.
