Reuse the same helper sites with 64- and 128-thread kernels and retain one device static across their emitted bodies. Check each launch plan and preserve fixed external-symbol diagnostics. Signed-off-by: Trent Nelson <trent@trent.me>
Select fixture output locations from raw CUDA coordinates and exercise payload initialization, access and copying at both item counts. Annotate compile-fail examples and clarify hierarchy ordering in the guide. Signed-off-by: Trent Nelson <trent@trent.me>

Superseded by #12088, which now owns this implementation within its complete feature family. The original commits, branch and validation evidence remain available. This draft is closed unmerged.
Historical scope and validation below refer to the original source heads.
Rust Block Load/Store can use Transpose for coalesced access or Striped for interleaved lane access. Direct remains the default. Direct and Transpose preserve exact one-, two- and three-dimensional block shapes; launch preparation rejects a different shape even when its thread count matches. Transpose Store permutes payload values and validity through a mutable borrow, including slots outside a partial write. Striped Store preserves both and needs no shared scratch.
Builds on Direct Load/Store #12099. The combined owning diff has 28 files (+3,115/-288); the main-based PR diff includes prerequisites. Uses the pinned compiler owned by cuda-rust #1589.
Consolidates #12102 and #12104 into this draft. The existing commits retain the separate shape and Striped changes; the accepted terminal source and dependency pins are unchanged.
Original qualification covers host tests, strict lints/docs, provider MSRV, native specialization and compiler controls, standalone consumers, numerical GPU checks, sanitizers and expected traps with health replays. The Striped GPU continuation completed only commands interrupted by another workload. Whole CUBINs differ from earlier builds; no instruction or performance equality is claimed. The accepted endpoint passed host CI; checks for this updated draft are tracked separately.
